Grew up in Las Vegas, always took it for granted. Later in life flying back and forth to the bay area to visit family i grew to appreciate the beauty of flying home at night.

Same! Love flying back in at night

This past Father's Day my son got me a discovery as a gift. It was an old Warrior II. My instructor was young and allowed my to do so much more flying than I ever expected. Now, I'm working on getting money for my license. It was a life changing experience.

Beautiful at night, during the day it looks like crap.

At 2:30 you can hear a stunning startup and it leads to an awesome take off

Been to LV over 20 times since 1978. Im usually in a bad mood when I’m on the departing plane - because I don’t want to leave! Thanks for posting - great job.

Anyone else grew up in Las Vegas And when you fly at night anywhere it’s beautiful?

Nice departure off rwy 28R at Harry Reid Int'l (formerly McCarran Int'l). Good photography. Southwest does a great job if you're not too tall - not a lot of legroom is my only 'beef'.

Beautiful. And I helped to build that 737 in Renton, Washington.

Americans are very fortunate for living in such a well-to-do and advanced country. It's surprising if you think what they achieved is rare, the majority of the countries don't have that. Poverty and underdevelopment is more common than wealth.

Just never get sick or injured in the U.S. unless you don't mind getting stuck with crushing debt.

It might be the camera frequency effect but am I the only one who noticed no strobes upon takeoff?

What date did you take this flight?

That’s anyone’s best guess right now. Would guess nuclear unless we can make massive advancements to solar (lowering material costs, increasing production, etc.) in the next 50-100 years.

2:26 - 3:06 is the take off while the airplane is still on the ground (getting ready to leave the ground, obvio)

The taxing scene is unreal since it’s dark, hard to see that the plane is moving some times...

Also I flew on this aircraft but in American airlines
