Stunning fat quarter quilt that is WAY easier than it looks! Burst Revisited
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
It's Stashin' with Stephanie time! This month's quilt is a reinterpretation of one of our most popular block of the month patterns, Burst.
I created a new block design that is true the original block shape that perfectly separates the light value prints from the light background. That allows you to use all the prints in a line, without having any of them get lost so your entire block can pop.
I just love how it turned out in Birdwatch by Boccaccini Meadows for FIGO Fabrics. The fabrics really read as a neutral and the greens are super trendy right now in home decor, so you cannot go wrong with this line. It's gorgeous.
Unlike the original BOM, we are just using one block design throughout. That makes it much easier, faster and fat quarter friendly.
And while those points might look challenging, they're not any more difficult than sewing a half square triangle from squares and we walk your through it step-by-step in the video tutorial.
To help you know how fast and easy this is, we got our fabric SUPER late for this month's subscription club bundle, so I went from quilt design to finished quilt, written pattern and video published in one week!

I had another fun day in my sewing room and now I get to sit and hand quilt while I listen and watch. Thank you for sharing this video.
That's is a gorgeous line of fabric. I was drooling when I saw it.
Received my fat quarter bundle today and looking forward to making the Burst Revisited. Thank you for providing a modern twist on fabric and patterns.

Isn't it great? We are sold out of the white, but we have the same print available in pink and charcoal at the moment: shop.quiltaddictsanonymous.com/product-tag/lucky-charms/

Thank you! 😊
Beautiful fabric! I only buy my fabric in yardage form. If I make a cutting mistake- no big deal. Or If I decide to make it bigger, or another project, I have enough fabric to do whatever I want. Tfs
love the fabric and quilt!

You’re almost to 100,000 subscribers! So happy for you.😉 You definitely deserve it ❤️ Oh, and the quilt is gorgeous. 😀 And, I agree with you about the iron. I have that same iron and it’s a game changer in the quilting world. Totally worth every penny it cost.

Beautiful !!! Donna H
I like this better because theres something about the look of logcabin style that has never appealed to me but this looks great. I
Sssooooo pretty!
Can you get the pattern for that BOM you did years ago?? Love this new pattern!!!
Do you have a set of fat quarters with some shades of turquoise or teals that can be used for this same quilt? Beautiful quilt pattern!
Great pattern and colors! Thank you for your efforts. The word is "orient." Past tense is "oriented." There is no "orientate" or "orientated."

This quilt is amazing
Orientate means to turn to the east. I just looked it up. I think you mean “orient” instead of “orientate.”
Sorry folks get grumpy with you. It's like when we have to close a preschool classroom for COVID. I have no control over the virus, but I can take preventive measures designated by the state.. Stay safe, be well, and quilt on!

Hi Connie! Thank you so much! The quilt in the back ground Rainstorm! You can order the pattern off our website, but we are sold out of the fabric :( shop.quiltaddictsanonymous.com/product/rainstorm-pdf-download/
What brand of pens do you use? I've had no luck in finding good pens. Thanks for your advice in advance.
Not even a minute into this video yet, but I have to know: what is that software you are using for this? That app looks potentially quite amazing.
Do you press your seams open for most of your quilts?

We had it in the original quilt kits, but we are sold out. It's a fabulous basic from FIGO. While we don't currently have white, we do have some yardage of the same print in pink and a charcoal gray: shop.quiltaddictsanonymous.com/product-tag/lucky-charms/
Can we just buy the pattern?

Everything we do is on KZread, so the best way is to subscribe! Are you looking at one of our series, like the Triangle Masterclass or the Intro to Free Motion Quilting?
HI, Im trying to send you an email with questions about your subscription plan but it says your server won't accept it. So what is the cancelation process? Can I skip a month if I need to?
@QuiltAddictsAnonymous
Жыл бұрын
That's strange! Are you trying to email help@quiltaddictsanonymous.com? Hopefully I can answer your question here! We don't currently have a skip a month option, but you can cancel your membership at any time, and resubscribe at any time as well. It works best to just start a new subscription rather than pause a membership, as our system doesn't always work correctly with a paused and restarted membership. If you're not sure you'll love the fabrics each month, but want access to the patterns and a discount on bundles and Stashin' fabrics, you should check out Stashin' Lite! It's a newer subscription we launched a month or two ago, and it just may be the perfect fit for you! shop.quiltaddictsanonymous.com/product/stashin-lite/
