As it takes better suction of air it gets more dirtier than stocks. So you have to clean every now and then.

Cleaning in every 2 weeks is not advised (even in Delhi condition), K&N advise to clean the filter at every 50,000 miles (80,000 km), but given the condition you can clean in every 40,000kms. I'm using it from last 6 years in i20 petrol.

Can using aftermarket intake filter help gain in some hp in my 1.2 lit petrol swift daire vxi or will it improve throttle response, and does it affects milage and what about maintenance? I know these are lot of questions because I am really thinking about using it

U need to have a complete intake system and free flow exhaust system built for the car to perform & with that you need to upgrade your inter cooler , bigger turbo , Ecu remap with dt box will enhance you car perfomance & not just by putting a k&n filter it will not do any help

I already have a stage1+ aggressive remap & free flow exhaust... 😁 no use for installing an intercooler or bigger turbo! Daily driven car, not race spec.
