Exquisitely beautiful chateau and gardens, plus the music was very appropriate! Very much my style and decor!

This is stunning! Would want people to use one door, as cannot imagine checking all of them each night. This looks like it was kept up very well over the years. If only I could be rich. Would have employees to cook and clean, and I could jump in and do things, and my husband too. But we could retire well, and not worry and turn it over to our sons and families. This could be the grandest Home/Bed and Breakfast! Plenty of room for all.

I’m more of a cottage guy. My family would’ve likely been the ‘help’ anyway! So maybe a gardener’s cottage or a loft apartment in the stables. Yep, I’d be quite comfortable there. 👍🏻. Beautiful chateau though.

Beautiful chateau. Most of us peasants could not afford the homeowners' insurance on such a palatial estate. But we can dream!

Note the comments stated it was built on a 16th Century "FOUNDATION" The Interior/Exterior has Reproduction & Restoration of some features but that is a better living accommodation & the price is extremely appealing for a huge detailed estate as this one. Very Nicely Done & a bargain at that @ $1.8 million but BIG TAXES In France ! It will sell very quickly! Out buildings offer diversity including a structure for a horse stables that could easily be finished out. Beautiful grounds with senic elevation. Very Nice Estate !

The music was conducive to the chateau..it was screaming for someone obviously with money to keep it in this beautiful order for the future. I’d love a chateau. It’s a place where you can live out your desires. But they are a costly dream. It might therefore be a challenge for a brave large family to pool resources and take one of theses places on .

I didn't catch the asking price nor did I get the realtor information. As much as I would love to purchase it, I would have so agree with others that it would be a money pit to maintain. Perhaps a group could pool the resources to purchase and make it a museum.

A quick update folks, as that place was recently sold to an Australian couple and they are turning it into a lux spa retreat... their new KZread channel is called 'Selling Up & Buying A Chateau.' They are restoring it quickly as they have the money to do so, (glad to see they are are NOT BEGGING complete strangers on KZread to send their hard earned money to pay the bills... unlike some self important people that moved to France and bought a crumbling chateau that they could not afford to restore and decided to beg complete strangers online for charity, so they can swish around in a castle! A disgusting abuse of charity... especially when you consider how many sick struggling children's hospitals and animal shelters that are always desperate for charity, to help SAVE LIVES!)

I agree. And the photo at 1:41 makes the area look like a kid's toyset where he randomly put toy buildings together, not sure if he was forming a castle or a village. It looks like every time they created an addition, they made it of lesser quality. They really need a longer video with explanations of all these buildings. At less than $2 million, it seems a great price, but also makes you wonder _why so_ (relatively) _inexpensive?_

horrible music! do you want to sell this castle? take other music! its a torture. so stressfull! take an adagio by Mozart and the video is twice as good. And yes, the quality of the video is bad.
