Apart from the yelow and red master bedroom, pure perfection! Love the sandstone walls, the light that comes in through the gorgeous windows.

I disagree. The yellow maybe a bit two strong but yellow, blue and that coral colors are very French!

The kitchen looks nice but not large enough for servicing such a grand banquet room. Wonderful home.

How would the evier in the knights templar dining room have been used? Couldn't find anything about it on the net.

This is special. I love the light filled rooms. But guys, when you do a walk-thru, please stop a second and don't walk straight thru a room as in the priory bathroom. A pause was needed. I understand your videos need to be of a certain length but it disrupts the flow of the video and i'm left with a sense of missing out. A constructive comment i hope. An entirely adorable property and brilliantly restored

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, we do not always have full days for filming properties and we do have to make choices regarding what we show. We do try to make the video flow as smoothly as possible and will try to improve this even more for larger properties like this one. :)

Those wooden ceiling beams in certain rooms could be painted with some traditional patterns to enhance the place further. But need some experts to do it well.

i preferred her presentation. it was more natural and human. i really mean it. the other guy that normally does the presentations doesn't really work with this content... in m opinion.

Lovely chateau. The kitchen is a bit of a no no, formal dining room looks claustrophobic, but the rest is lovely.

@@ek7593 If it has the radiators, it likely has a sort of boiler or converted gas furnace that is quite efficient and lower cost maintenance. I have a 30 room Victorian in the US with converted gas furnace that originally was coal, put into the home in 1920. It is 100 years old and still works exactly as it is supposed to with radiators that keep the place toasty in the Winter. The home was built in 1883.

After watching dozens of those houses/villas/chateaux I was wondering when (and if) I would see a comment like yours. People always see the good side of it but old places, old constructions are charged with their history. No matter if I sound crazy, but there are some places I woudn't live in for anything in the world. I'm not saying every castle is haunted, but places, like people, have a past, and like people, are friendly or hostile. Never forget that if you buy it you take the history with the castle. You pay, but you sort of borrow it from who lived in it 2 or 3 or more centuries before. I'm surprised not many people think about it. Castles - places in general - have to...get used to us. If there are mistakes in my comment I'm sorry, I'm french and english is only my second language.

@@isamm5579 I agree. Filming on a sunny day helped to present a good feel to this property. Even so, just seeing a video can give an indication. This property needs time to adjust to considerate stewards but it will welcome and protect the right people. I would live there.

De toutes façons, c'est le genre d'endroits tellement isolé que les propriétaires deviendraient de vrais proies au home jacking en pleine nuit. C'est évident. Sans compter qu'une fois acheté, extrêmement difficile à revendre.

Beautiful chateau. Pity about the poor, ill-prepared presentation and amateurish filming.

lovely and tasteful except for the master bedroom. no fireplace in the master bedroom? disappointed to see only 3 bedrooms out of 8.....wont sell that way.

Unfortunately, on large properties such as this one, we do not always have the time to film all the rooms, especially when there are lots of bedrooms. We do, however, have photos of them all that the agent can send you should you be interested 😉

Without the agent, please...

They ruined it by the two towers outside. It is a bad miniature of Villebois Lavalette with next to it an immense medieval church. There is all lack of proportion.. The inside is merely satisfying. Relative high price 1.3 MIO Euros. It is what it is. Next!

The chateau is badly renovated and the furnishings are looking really cheap. What a mess!
