One thing to keep in mind here on your first Target Card, as it was a secondary mission, you can actually spend 1 SO (Actually 1/2/3 SOs) to Recon an extra Target card. This would have given you two targets in this first day, increasing your victory odds. This RECON option is covered on the Player Help Sheet - near the bottom of the page. Good Video though - very good instruction for new players.

I think that number 4 (1st mission) on left of tartget card means how many planes you can take on a given mission (as it would be similar to other Leader games)

Yes, that's correct, I accidentally took one too many which luckily ended up not being necessary (even the 4th wasn't).

Loved the video - it'll tide me over while I wait for my UK copy to come through Customs. A quick question, in case I didn't quite understand it. For your first pilot (Lange), you threw a 6 and a 9. With his +4 modifier, is that not 4 hits rather than 3 (not that it makes much difference, there's not much left of the column either way).

Thanks! And yes, that should have been four hits, but as you said in the end it didn't matter. Really makes a difference when there are no bandits or sites shooting at you!

First attack by Longa one bomb rolled a "6" and +4 would equal "10" so 2 hits instead of one?

Thanks! And yep, you're right, I brought one too many pilots on that mission. Ultimately I only needed three, so I suppose it wasn't a big deal in the end, but I did completely miss that.
