Before and after filling with 50cst silicone oil. Notice the air bubble which in this case has disappeared on it's own after a few hours on wrist.

Interesting that the air bubble disappeared. Do you think that was due to thermal expansion of the oil? Does it return if you leave the watch off your wrist for a while?

No the bubble remained only hidden perhaps it migrated behind the dial only to return to the front after a while. This watch ended up stalling and had to be drained in order to function again.

@@lawrencemiller6552 The fluid/bubble can migrate through the date window. A weak battery can result in "stalling" due to the extra torque required for the stepper motor to advance the second-hand.
