This stug was knocked out in Italy. I'm working on their jagdpanther G2 and while a well detailed kit, way over engineered. Without interior is around 30 steps. But its not hard to build, just a ton of tiny parts. Love to see what you will go with this model.

Hi Rock, that is a excellent job so far, you are luck to have had the opportunity to have beenable to look over the real thing, I had a look over a Abrams MBT, and there is not a lot of spare room in them either, best regards from Australia.

Nicely done Rick! Two mentions. 1st. Zimmerit I would do it the whole way down at the casemate. 2nd. Don't forget that there was a tarp between the roof and gun mantled to protect from rain

Hi, I have photos that show the Zimm both cases, but understand that it makes sense to go all the way down. And yes, a tarp is in the future.
Well done Rick, getting into that Stug! Pretty sure my old bones would not be up for that!! Enjoying this build!

Very excited for this one Rick cheers. RFM are doing some great work too. Currently on their Panzer iii, but would like to tackle a stug with zimm so will be watching closely!

ありがとう、私の友人. (I hope that this translated). Thank you.
Very good video, Rick! By the look of those guys in shorts I think you'll find this picture was taken in Italy. I'm in the 'only what you can see through the hatches' school of modelling. A full interior kit is wasted on me unless I'm going to model a partially destroyed vehicle where internal parts are exposed. I always enjoy your videos and i look forward to the next episodes! By the way, try Bovington next! they're a nice bunch of people!

Since the video I have had a lot of people confirm that this is Italy. I've been to Bovington years ago...a wonderful collection.
Lovely work Rick. I just came across your channel but remember your work from an armour model site about 10+ years ago that is no longer around and the name slips my mind.

It's AK Real Colors Cream White, lightened with a little White Grey.
Finished same build with AM (KV1 kit and AM so much easier) used an L70 -75mm barrel -no muzzle brake-pared down to diameters of L43 barrel.Your build looks great,cant wait to steal some inspiration for painting mine.RFM have showed dragon how a PzIV kit should look today.

Don’t want to tell anyones grandma how to suck eggs but have you ever tried Citadel acrylic paints?They do a good couple of olive drab and Wehrmacht dark yellow matches.G/F bought some for me for tank interiors.Hairspray chipping is quite hard,you have to work at it,no chunks sliding off like Vallejo or AK.Loads of pigment and happy with a more “dusty/dry” approach.Harder to chip,but really hard to mess up,which helps me no end.If I need a colour I always check to see if citadel has a match.Can open bottles and pour into airbrush cup one handed too.
Great piece of work Rick, and it’s a shame about the interior that you can’t really see the results of your efforts. ❤😊

Looks like "Hull Down" to me (but in the worst sense of that term... BTW: That kind of disaster happened often. Driving around with the limited vision, when you suddenly come under fire, you tend to hit the gas and rush for cover. It's easy to miss a ditch hidden in amongst the trees & brush.
@RickLawlerPropaganda

I don't doubt that this happens (ed) a lot. That view from the vision block is so very limited. Title noted!
Great video but would love to have seen you add sim to the front glacis and hatches because they’re the trickiest part on pz iii./iv
