Sorry you feel you've let the kids down, just make it up to them, get one of the challenges that's finished or finish it and get those items for them. Just treat them during this journey. Kids try to understand our situations but I'm sure they felt just as bad as you did. But They will be okay. I'm just speaking from my own experience; I know I have disappointed my kids in the same way, way too many times when I was raising them on my own and still today feel bad about those times even after they have all grown up. Girl! I have tried doing bullet journals and all kinds of journals for all kinds of things to get my $@!% together, lol it just made me feel more of a failure 😂 I'm wishing you good luck and hope it works for you.

It's okay. I think I felt worse than they did, lol. But I will get an opportunity to make it up to them. Right now I've got the journal set up as a task list to get a routine down. Still mixed success but getting a routine is the hard part. Once the wheel starts rolling and stays rolling, I think it will get easier and maintain.
