Totally agree with the pop up trash can. Game changer for sure. We carry two of them. One for trash and one for empty beer cans. 😉 The only downside, they don't hold up very well over time. I'm looking into buying some canvas ones in the near future. Great video!

Noticed you didn't mention your thermo fan there on the shelf. I just got one for our buddy heater and it rocks. Takes the buddy heater to a whole new level. Great video.

Once.. I believe this was when we did the mohave trail or buffington pocket trail near Valley of fire but after re-adjusting my line I was able to make it.

It all depends on what we end up making for food when we go out which will dictate what cook items we will bring with us, we dont bring everything everytime lol With our primary stove being a double Coleman with a Dutch oven set I would consider that setup pretty simple still but thats just me. Never heard of them but thanks for letting me know and Thanks for watching ! Cheers

Great video, thanks for the info. After experiencing the Vegas wind, would you reconsider the RTT and go with something like the shiftpod? I'm debating on RTT or sturdy ground tent so the family isn't up all night. Thanks!

I'm not sure if a Shiftpod would be any better in wind? I dont have any experience there but I know guys who've used pop up tent pods like that and you can still hear the wind (also one of their tie down straps broke during some high wind we were camping in, this was a Gazelle tent). With the GFC, the wind isnt too bad as long as your park the truck facing toward the wind so the wedge deflects the wind.

What about coolers/frigeration?. As always great videos!!

Thanks Michael! In terms of coolers/fridges we only have 3 options at home - 1. An older Coleman ice cooler which is a bit smaller and good for quick overnight trips, it doesnt keep ice cold for very long though which is why we only use it for single night trips 2. I have a collapsible 45L cooler great for hauling a ton of food for a longer weekend trip where we know we will have access to a fridge (ex. going to an Airbnb). 3. Dometic CFX3 45L which is our usual go to for weekend / longer road/camping trips its definitely pricey though and more companies are coming out with much more affordable electric fridges (ex. iceco)

There is an adapter you can buy for the Skottie grill which would then allow it to work with the Ignik growler tank - something like this I believe amzn.to/46lSwws
