I've literally binged you're videos. I've just started College this week and I can't wait to implement what I've learnt from you.
He's really a genius he could literally manage to learn another language while being in med school. Meanwhile I can't even have a proper amount of sleep just to squeeze in every information into my head, and eating is the only leisure I could ever do 😭
Finally someone who actually give tips on how to study not just show us a video of them studying...thankyou so much
I'm doing my GCSE mocks at the moment and I just wanted to say that the work ethic and organisation that you show in every video that you do, inspires me to study and do just as well in life as you are doing for yourself. Thanks for the help and keep up the amazing work

These study with me videos are soooo good man, all your tips have helped me structure my revision so that I am studying more effectively. You've also helped me so much with understanding spaced repetition, keep up the amazing videos!!!
Thank you. Now I need tips on how not to be addicted to Ali's channel.
I study Medicine in Brazil. At first, I was discouraged because of the first flaws in tests, but seeing your videos gives me the incentive and interest to continue studying. Thank you very much!
I just wanted to say that I love your channel and thank you for creating awesome videos!
I think a lot of people's hang-up on the active recall tip isn't about what the technique consists of (regarding the definition of active recall), but rather how to efficiently create a system you can test yourself within without wasting time taking notes - the loss of efficacy comes at the beginning of the study process, when people are trying to learn the content for the first time so that they're able to test themselves on it. I think you've addressed that a bit here, as well as in your videos about 'scoping the subject' (a framework I love, by the way - super intuitive), but do you have any specific insights into how you go from looking at something for the first time, to understanding the content so that you can then pull the important bits out to create a testable framework (whether its a list of things to draw spider diagrams of, flashcards, a google sheets method, etc.)? Love the way you approach learning, it's taken every method I've ever intuitively leaned towards and created a formalized approach, thank you for all the work you put into your channel - hope that one day I can take you up on that Cambridge coffee offer.

Thank you Pascale for putting to words what I could not. That's something I'm quite interested in and will keep an eye out on Ali's site for more information around creating a testable framework. For now I'm going to follow this trail you've just provided called "scoping the subject"!
I am so glad to see this chanel grow as it dose. I’ve just been following you for a few months, but the quality of the videos have increased exponecialy! Have a nice end of the week!
I gotta say these videos are very inspiring for me whenever I decide to go back to school to finish out my AS in Business Administration.

Hey Ali, I found your videos by chance and I am obsessed with your videos. Everytime I open KZread the first channel I open is yours.
I get such a massive urge to be productive after watching your videos and I don't know why! Keep em up!
Simply the best explanation about this topic. The pratical demonstration did help a lot. Thank you!
Thanks Ali, after 10 years in the working world, now I'm back to studying again. I keep coming back to your videos. I hope I could master all the tips and expand them to my students one day. Inshaallah (God willing).
How I wish I could multi-task and be this organised, productive, qualified, perfect, calm, successful etc!
Ali,I can’t thank you enough 🙏 I have long been depressed due to my study habits.Like,I would cram every single word without missing an “a” or “the”.But when I came across your video... I found an escape from this trauma.I’m trying to follow your tips like active recall & spaced repetitions. And these are helping ... in short I am living a new life.Parhai is not a burden anymore.Dil se dua hai “May you blessed abundantly and inspire youth for evermore “ and a heart for your calmness❤️

Second but more importantly these videos are very very helpful, changing student lives 👏🏽👏🏽
I absolutely adored this video, you're so smart but still relatable, I love ittttt!
Active Recall was life changing for me! I used to study long hours but without knowing how to effectively retain information. Now I study less time but with the triple of the quality, feel less overwhelmed and have primed my study techniques to deal with the difficulties of studying! Thank you so much for sharing this valuable info with us ! ;)

Just subscribed to Your channel and I must say it's been helpful I just realized I used to do active recall and spaced repition in high school and I didn't know it was a thing til now. Then in med school I kinda stopped doing that cause I thought it took too much time which was a bad decision obviously. Anyway I'm back to it now so thanks for the videos they have been of great help!

Hey Ali love the videos. I should be starting my F1 in August (finals dependant 😛) and was wondering if you had a plan for a video about how you use your iPad whilst at work. I can definitely see the advantages of it but think it would be interesting and helpful to see what you use on it and how. Keep up the great work!!
Ali you need to teach is how you do these pen flicks and tricks...it's SO COOL!!
Very interesting that you have active breaks between your studying sessions. I always feel bad when I study for like 1 or 2 hours and cant bring myself to continue and start to procrastinate... but I guess using the procrastination time to get other stuff done is key
Great video. I was just reading your recent newsletter is was really good.
Beautiful work as always.
Great video! Thanks a lot!!!
As a fellow doctor I am currently looking for ways to improve my knowledge while surviving the everyday chaos of working in a hospital. I appreciate these videos and I was able to take some information for me out of it. I am surprised however that you have not mentioned the feynman technique in any of your videos. It is essentially what you have been talking about, active recall, spatial learning etc. Always found it interesting though that this. oncept has been around for I think 50 years and we still do it wrong most of the time :)
I love your videos! 😭❤

As a Japanese Med Student, it would be great to meet you when you do come around!!
You should use the “ fluent forever method” with anki for learning languages.
Hey Ali! Great video looking forward to the next one it’s my favourite series by far that’s productivity based😉 Quick question, when you answer your recall questions how do you personally do them? I see you writing questions on your iPad etc. Also if I use a mind map as an active recall method to answer my questions, the next time I end up going over the same topic would you recommend re doing another mind map etc? That’s all that’s really confused me
