Thank you so MUCH for being honest about studying hard but still not making the mark you wanted. There is a myth or assumption that if you put in hours of studying, the results will always be high grades. It is rare for the study influencers to admit to not receiving good grades. I think it is important for the young people to hear about the realities behind studying for hours and hours. It is important to balance living life, studying and good health. People will watch study channels, put pressure on themselves and become unmotivated. It is important to know to do our best and be proud of ourselves whatever the outcome.

I totally relate with what u said about not achieving the desired results for the amount of effort being put into studying. I worked extremely hard all year for my finals, specifically physics, only to end up bombing its final. I’m extremely disheartened about it right now and super anxious about my results and how my family is going to react because they had fairly good expectations. Omg im a 4th year med student, and honestly one thing my career taught me is that in this type of careers getting the notes you want is hella hard!!! i had to come to peace with it. Health related careers are so hard and the subjects topics are soo extended... its soo hard to interiorize all the information, and thats okay. Once you le go the worry about grades and enjoy the process and just study because ypu LOVE the subjects and the career, it gets better! I stopped studying for exams and started studying for my future patients. Its life changing. Hang in there!
