Latvia is a very small country and Riga is the capital. Most of the universities are in riga .. nowadays getting a job is really hard .. already asians and indians ne kond saturated aaya pole aanu. And for most of teh job position latvian language is mandatory.

60% is mandatory. Generally Latvia is not flexible for even 0.1% marks. Better look for other countries unless you are ready to risk your application fees.

Sir, RTU oru nalla option aano…after study to get settled in countries like sweden or germany….also gcc countries….will studying be a better option in RTU ??

The overall QS Ranking 2025 of RTU is 721. So its generally a good option. But if you are a career aspirational students, you should research the subject wise ranking of your field in RTU/any university. Moreover, you should prepare well to participate in the ERASMUS student exchange programs particularly to universities in your favorite European countries. Build an awesome profile alongside the program duration and improvise on job search to get good jobs and there by settlement.

Really hard to get part time in jelgava ... City area alla.... If u can meet ur fee and living cost fr​om india then it's k. And in life science University most of the courses have mon- fri classes and labs. Hard to manage time for work here@@ajayjayakumar6177

Part-time jobs are there. But due to the increase in the number of refugees & students, coupled with the economic slow down; now it may take more time to get part-time jobs not just in Latvia but all across Europe. But students are still able to find it. This is a temporary situation will be changed soon.

It's the common thing happening across the globe now a days especially in countries where the number of international students rose so high. Economic slow down, Lay offs, inflation etc. are the reasons. It will change gradually. But on the other side, its a fact that less number of students update their employability skills consistently and they use decade old techniques to find jobs(part-time & full-time).
