Study Abroad #7a (Ireland-Cole J. / Hurley Ceol "Star of the County Down" cover)- Purdue Polytechnic

Cole, a Purdue Polytechnic student majoring in cybersecurity & network engineering technology, went on a Study Abroad trip to Dublin, Ireland. He really enjoyed the little things that he noticed about Dublin's culture - it was the small, everyday things that caught his attention and that he missed most after returning home.
By happenstance, there was a music shop across the street from a bike store where Cole worked in Dublin … and the music shop introduced Cole to the hurley ceol, a guitar-like instrument that fuses Dublin's folk music traditions with the ancient Gaelic game of hurling. Cole introduces us to the hurley ceol and performs a cover of the song "Star of the County Down" by The Irish Rovers.
