I just love your videos. They are so relaxing and I learn so much. I lost my daughter 5 years ago this Saturday and I am supposed to a little launch on that day for my candles. I have been testing since August and I am so scared. I also have a scent/vessel that is all about her. You are such an inspiration!

I just ordered the label tool the other day. Norden is here in the Pittsburgh area so it’s nice to support a local business. Plumeria is my very favorite scent right now. Decided to add it to my core line simply because I love it 😊 btw, I found a US source for hydrostone if you need. It’s one of my soap supply vendors. Go figure.

I myself freak out about every little thing 😂. I gave some to friends for testing but when the wax is almost finished they started seeing the rim of the jar getting black. They burn theirs with their fans on, I didn’t so I didn’t see that issue. Now I’m thinking I have to test everything all Over again 😢

Oh man! I think that could definitely be from the fans. It's always a struggle because you never know how friends/customers are going to burn the candles in their own home.

Just wondering when your jars are drying- could you cover your jar base with cling wrap like a press and seal to keep the air from getting to it?

Yep you definitely can! I mention this in my in-depth jar tutorial. I would let them set up for a few minutes so the cling wrap doesn’t stick, then you can cover them. Works great!

I love your content!! Because of you I’m trying coco-83 wax. 😊What is a good wick? I am using fragrance oil and still determining what type of colorant to use. Open to suggestion’s/advice if you’re willing. I want to do a concrete vessel for candle that will turn into a pot for plants, if that’s possible. 😊

Oh yay! I hope you like it. 🙂 I find it typically likes smaller wicks. I prefer the CDN series. I also have tested a few LX wicks and those seem to burn well in it, too!

So have you decided to stick with Cement All over Hydrostone?

Haven’t decided yet! Will have to do lots of testing before I make that decision.

How are you liking the wooden wicks so far? I tested so so much (still got one more round of cotton wicks) but found one that works great for the tulip and soy wax. But what a journey that was. These look great - love that mold and size

I'm about to burn the one shown in this video today! The other one I tried was burning too hot, so we will see. I love the look of wood wicks, I could just never get them to work with my wax when I first started. Hoping these ultimate wicks work better for me!

@@calafiacandleco yes, the Ultimate was a nice step up from booster. And I get what you mean during the hot part as the candle burns longer. I hope the kits are working for you too that helps save a lot of $$. I decided to use the wooden wick just for special candle designs and fear of customers having issues with burning them 🙈

How did the wooden wick burn for you? I’m not having any luck with those and even bought a kit. I’m using coconut 83 wicks in 2.5 diameter container.

I love your content!!! I sell candles as well and I’m the Military. Recently I got stationed overseas on an island and I knew buying vessels wouldn’t be productive. So I decided to make my own cement vessels and love it. I made some of my inventory late august but notice early this month a lot of seepage from the oil but mainly near the lip of the jar. I was hoping to fix it but it’s been an issue 😢. How do you manage to not have much seeping, if you are able to manage it? Either way, I’ve thrown in the towel and found that Flaming Candle doesn’t have bad shipping prices to where I’m located so I’m hoping the vessels work out so I can launch my fall collection! Thank you for the videos you make and sharing of ideas 🙏🏽

@@calafiacandleco thank you for subscribing, and thank you for your support! Well the first coat I use is eco advance, and then when it’s dry I use the earth safe quick dip one. It could be that I am using two different sealers. I have yet to try using just the earth safe or just the eco.

@@trelucido I have unfortunately heard that a lot of people have experienced seepage with the eco sealer. I love earth safe. Maybe try two dips with the quick dip sealer just to be sure.

Thank you for the advice 🤗 Sometimes I wonder if the fact I have no central AC on an island plays a part in that as well. Throughout the days it’s so hot and at night super cold when I have units on. So it could just be using eco along with weird temperatures lol. Just a mess 😅.

Hello, How are you, Please make a video on making candle jars using White Cement ( which is usually the Limestone) except Cement All . Because in my country Cement All isn't available . So please make a video on making jars using White cement and also add colour pigment so it will lot easier to know that it is perfect for adding colour pigment in it or not and also give feedback on it , is it strong and durable or not . So please make a testing video on it . Thank you.

Hi there, I usually stick to my cement-all, with the exception of testing hydrostone in a prior video. I am not the most keen on other formulas. I would suggest checking out UpVibe here on KZread. Jai has a lot of great videos showcasing other formulas to achieve a concrete jar.

By the way you’re getting 🌽! I made the mistake of feeding the neighborhood birds and the seed caused corn, sunflowers and milllet.
