Hi! Mine says that because I was trying to connect 2 displays (monitor and drawing tablet) to my laptop, which can only support 1 display. So as soon as I disconnect the monitor, it fix the no signal problem.

i just ordered one and it's coming soon! it's my first pen display and i can't wait😭💖 i chose the green over blue cause i love the shade of green used owo. i'll probably edit this once it comes also lovely video!🍃💕 EDIT: okay im using it for a week now and it's awesome. it was easy to setup and the wires don't bother me much. i was lowkey worried the screen would be too small but for me, it's just the rigjt size :DD,, i do recommend extending displays instead of duplicating to maximize the 1920×1080 but that also depends on your laptop's screen resolution, my laptop screen had lower resolution so it looked pixelated when duplicated. another is that when the brightness is past 50%, the side with the port will heat up a bit after some time. other than that very good tablet! very worth the money💸💸

At 10:30 you can hide the tools bars to make the canvas just as large as your ipad btw!

i've seen several review videos for this tablet and yours was the most helpful for me!!

I use asus zenbook, exact model can be found here : bunnycreams.carrd.co However i found that the feel is different when i use the tablet on my laptop and pc, the pressure works better on my pc so i won't really recommend my laptop 😅 Sure it can work but you'll have to edit the settings on the driver software to make it feels good

It's def the design among all 12" tablet 👌 glad i could help ☺☺

I think it's the Tab key in CSP that will hide and show all the palettes. It's a handy and fast shortcut I've found useful when drawing on small screens so I can draw on my entire canvas without any palettes showing. I thought you might like to try it in your work flow. I think this tablet looks nice except for being a bit small. I want to get one anyway

Thanks! The timelapse is a feature from csp, so you just need to go to file>timelapse>record timelapse before you start drawing

Ever since I stadted drawing again cause of my college course being art and animation. I always find the tablets and computers at my school to be slow so I always want one of my own at home. Good thing I found this one! Just don't know where to look or find one of that kind though, I live in the Philippines

I'm planning on getting this very soon (i finally got money for it!!) and I was wondering if it was hard to set it up? It's going to be my first screen display tablet..so I'm very curious and a bit anxious. Does it make you do the thing at the start when you open the driver? (like, set up the screen, etc?) if you also use photoshop, did you have to turn on the pen pressure there too? Hellooo! Yaaaay glad you're getting one yourself :D the set up itself is not hard, you just need to install the driver and plug in the cable, (if your laptop support display via usb c i recommend you to get the usb c cable too so you won't be dealing with 3 cables, though it's just a matter of looks) so after you install the driver, plug in the cables, start up the tablets, then you have to calibrate through the driver named "pentablet", it's pretty much done after that unless you wanna explore further like adjusting the pen pressure, etc. you can adjust different pen setting for different apps too if you're interested in that. for photoshop you just have to change the brush setting control under shape dynamic to pen pressure. however, usually you don't have to do much and the brushes on photoshop will automatically use the pen pressure after you install the driver.

Hey, there! I got XP-PEN Artist Pro 13 and I suggest you to buy a screen protector. The screens of XP-Pen screen tablets easily scratch and there'll be visible glares that might be bothersome. I have already two xp-pen pro as the old one has scratched and it kinda easily damage the nibs too. So when I brought another one, I didn't remove the screen protector packaging and bought an extra.

It might have a little grain effect but i wouldn't say it's blurry. I personally like having a screen protector and i didn't notice significant change with it on

You mean everything else works except for the display? Have you install the driver and do you use the original cable or the all in one usb c cable? Mine didn't work coz my laptop didn't support display via usb c so all i did was plug in the hdmi directly to my laptop's hdmi port

Hi! I think it's a good tablet for starting digital artist, 12" size is not too small nor too big, but that really depends on what you draw actually. If you're into very detailed art let's say concept art, environmental art, i think you'll be more comfortable with bigger screen. Also smaller screen means you move your arm less than the bigger one so that's the pro and cons :D The color is pretty nice, there's no need to do any adjustment and it's pretty much almost like retina display on ipad. No apparent parallax so you'll feel almost like drawing on paper.

I assume that you prob have a tablet as i comment this but graphic non screen tablets are better to start off with since they qre cheaper than display tablets and can help you start with digital art without having to worry abt wasting a lot of money if you decide that digital art isn't for you

Hi, does it also work when the tablet is off, I saw a video of the 2021 version of the 16 pro and the guy turned it off and you can use it as a graphics tablet instead of a display tablet.

Hii! This one doesn't work with screen off unfortunately. The only option is to switch the main workspace to your monitor so it works like a pen tablet.

hii! I haven't tried connecting it to android, but it did say that it can be connected to android. also, it only say Android (USB3.1 DP1.2) on the website and didn't specify any list of phones

Where did you get the stand that you have your tablet on? Also how do you have the display set up? I tend to not like making the display the same size as my current tablet because it will mess up how Clip Studio looks (I have a 13 in MacBook Air and the original Artist 12).

I don’t know which she has, but I have the parblo PR 100 universal graphic tablet stand. I purchased it in December of 2020 and it is still working great and it can adjust the angle too. I use the innovator 16 on it and it fits great!

each still has it's own pro and cons, so it really depends on your preference. however from what i know, since 2nd generation is newer, it got x3 chips which affect the pen pressure while the pro one doesn't.

hii, sorry for the late reply! in case u're still wondering... if u bought the usb c to usb c cable, use that but if not you'll need a hub with a hdmi port if your mac doesn't have one. connect the other 2 usb to your laptop, if it can't turn on, try connecting the red usb to the adapter and stick it to eletric socket. as for the program, I'm using clip studio paint :)

If u draw lightly (as in pressure) i don't think it's a must, then again it already has one by default

Ah you have to make sure that your computer support display via usb c port first. If it doesn't the add on cable is useless. If you have mac (newer model) then u're safe.

Hii, yeah i think it's suitable for beginners, it's not too small nor too big so it's not overwhelming. If it's between the 1st gen and 2nd gen i would suggest to go with the 2nd since it's has new technology like the x3 implemented and the range of gamut and ntsc colors are better

I am also confused between this two! I would say 12 2nd gen is cheaper, with wider colour gamut and lovely outlook for me. But don't know if the screean is too small for me. 15.6 pro with red dial is good to use AND bigger working place is always better. But it is more expensive and not really like the outlook. Also an older version. So I still can't decide which one after a month of thinking Would be good if u can let me know which u chose after all 😮

If you like your workspace compact i guess it’s not. It feels similar like drawing on ipad, however since i have an ipad i feel like i could use a bigger one… so it’s really your preference :D This one is not a touch screen so it won’t smudge and you can wipe the dust very easily. Sure, you can use it as a second monitor too! My opinion, I don’t think i could go back to a pen tablet after using display tablet 😂

Hi! Omg calm down... :0 By making the stylus work, do you mean the pressure? Make sure u install the driver from the website. Then make sure that the windows ink is checked on the pen tab setting. If it's still not working, go to your drawing setting preference and find the windows ink/wintab aswell. Make sure that is checked aswell

Oh! It works with my laptop's hdmi port, it's just that my laptop doesn't support display via usb c connection that's why it showed no signal. I have to switch with my monitor everytime i need to use it

I got that because i plug it via usb c and my laptop doesn’t support display through usb c. It works fine if i plug it via hdmi, what computer or laptop do u use?

hey! did you notice any issue with the pen? currrently, trying to buy XP artist pro but all i see is people saying there's a few issues with the pen :( and ofc everyone seems not to be a fan of all the cables

Heyy, nope I don't have major issue with it just that the nibs wears out pretty quickly. I guess I'll need to change them once a month but that really depends on your usage. And I dunno why but the pressure on my laptop is a bit off but when i plug it to my pc it works great, even with the same setting. Yeaa the cables is a bit of hassle, they sell the usb c cable separately if you wanna get it too, though you have to make sure that your usb c port support displays :)

Hii, unfortunately this one is not a standalone, i think you'll have to go with ipad/surface or smthing like that 🤔 I'm not sure since i haven't done any research yet but i think stand alone tablet will need to be plug in all the time, so it can be a hassle too.

Yup but you'll need to purchase the usb c to c cable separately if you're using newer model of macbook. The cable included in the box is usb c to usb a+hdmi only.

Hii! Did u connect it via the usb c port? The usb c cable doesn't work on our laptop since it doesn't support display via usb c. The only way it to connect it with hdmi cable

Nah no difficulties whatsoever, just that it wasn't a touch screen and i was accustomed to drawing on ipad so i kept pinching that screen 😂 Otherwise it's all good! Don't forget to calibrate though

No worries, glad i could help! Hmmm as for lag, I feel like sometimes the brush stroke can't keep up but I'm prettt positive it's because of my laptop 🤔 As for ipad, usually it only lags when i use a texture brush with its maxium size.

whats ur budget? because if ur just going to draw on it you don't really need anything fancy as long as it has a USB port for a drawing tablet without screen and if u want with screen then u need HDMI or something alike, but tbh I would recommend "gaming" laptops due to the reason that they are made to handle games so there is no question about it that it can handle drawing

oh i just checked the website and it says it can work with chrome os 88 or later! so i guess you can use it for lenovo chromebook :)

Hi! All I did is use the hdmi port instead of the usb c port, since my laptop doesn't support display via usb c.

No, i dont have an extender for hdmi port so i dunno if that will work. So when i use the tablet with my laptop i have to switch between my big monitor and tablet.

Hi, please help me with my 12nd display I'm devastated I dont even know what to do now😭😭 so i downloaded the driver and run it like everyone else, and it shows on my sp pen that "no signal", just like you. @@sleepychrissy6316 no worries and thank youuu so happy you like my works ☺💖 I really have no comparison between the non X3 so I can't tell, but if I have to compare it to ipad's, ipad is better but xppen is quite close. Though i dunno why but the pressure works differently on my laptop and pc, the pc one works better. As for the nibs, it does wear out pretty quick but if you're aware of it and constantly change the side of the nibs while drawing it won't form an angle that fast.
