Thank you so much!! I’ve had that issue before with different sticker papers, but I never seem to get it with this one (it’s the PPD Glossy Vinyl) but I have heard people use scotch tape to make the box less glossy so the Cricut can read it! 💖

Hey!! So the Cricut Joy is good for smaller projects like cards and vinyl decals but I wouldn’t suggest it for making your own sticker designs as it’s too small for printable vinyl stickers :( but if you’re starting out and want to test the waters of sticker selling, you could try ordering from places like stickerapp that are super affordable and see whether it’s worth it to eventual invest in a cutting machine :) I hope that’s helpful, thank you for the kind words and good luck!! 🥰
