    Thanks for uploading. . The macro toolbar is a great feature & it can be detached from its original position.I would welcome the option to allow us to resize & colour the text and have as many as we desire on multi touch screen in Studio One & the Studio One remote app.This would eliminate the need to midi map the functions.

    @@studioonetutorials Hey Lukas, while i have you. I noticed that you can hold CTRL and drag to reorder the buttons. Do you know if there's some kind of way to do this with the plugin lists within folders in Browser? Right now it's locked to alphabetical order. I have many plugins, i want to put my go-to plugins closer the top of the folders i've created. Favourites is not quite adequate for this because it's too broad

    @@Barncore Hm yes, it's a different part of the program so unfortunately, CTRL/Cmd only works only in the macro toolbar. The only workaround I can think of is to create a preset for each instrument, save them in a folder, name them to get the desired order (01 NI Kore, 02 Omnisphere, 03 Presence XT etc.) and use the Files tab in the Browser instead of the Instrument tab. I made a video on the Files tab... not exactly what you want but perhaps it gives you some ideas: kzread.info/dash/bejne/hGyhrMmjkrfXobA.html

    I just started in S1 and one of my favorite pair of macros are the Chord Up / Chord Down macros which shift chord inversions up and down. The trouble is, when you select chord notes and perform the inversion shift, your note selections are gone and only the note which was move remains selected. I tried to create a fixed macro, however, even though S1 displays the name of the chord under your time cursor, there appears to be no command to select (or re-select) the notes of the current chord. I would be greatful if you could let Presonus know about this behavior. Thanks!

    Hi Lukas. I'm trying to create a function that will raise the volume of a selected channel and preferably ALSO lower the volume of all the other channels. This will allow me to use the Listen function as I know it from Cubase. But is there a command to select all channels in the mixer BUT the one I have selected?

    Is time added between each command to ensure the sequence of commands is maintained properly?

  • @studioonetutorials

    @studioonetutorials

    5 ай бұрын

    No, because commands are always executed one after the other. Adding time wouldn't ensure anything anyway, because you don't know how long a command will take to run. If there are commands where this doesn't work as expected, it's a bug and needs to be fixed in Studio One.

  • @studioonetutorials

    @studioonetutorials

    2 жыл бұрын

    You mean by using buttons instead of key commands? Sure. I've run out of key commands. And I prefer buttons for commands or macros that I don't use that often so that I couldn't remember the keyboard shortcut anyway ;-) But macro toolbar + buttons let me group commands that I like to use together.

    @@studioonetutorials Cool. I am asking because I have an Editors Keys keyboard that I feel I use to much. I have a Fader Port 8 that gets hardly any use. I would like to use the Fader Port a lot more and the computer keyboard way less. I can't remember all these key commands either. And since you can detach and make the macro toolbar vertical you can add a lot more buttons, Thanks for that by the way. I guess I got some work to do. I am sure I will be in touch at some point. Thanks again for the great video.
