Today I'll be painting Howl lying in bed scene from Howl's Moving Castle. This is one of the scenes where I find Howl the most handsome in the movie and I just love it. I also really enjoyed painting his hair, and I ended up painting it in both blonde and black states. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed my painting process this time. I think I mentioned it before but it's Always satisfying to see you add the lineart! Not only because it defines the painting but because of how precisely you add them with a brush!

I am intrested to know if you work from image reference oe create your own sketch from the caracter ? And the decors like pilllow here ? And also, do you use water at all or only flat colour non dilluted ? Very neet work !

Thank you so much! So glad you like it 😊🌼 Of course I took reference images, and I drew them according to the images on my computer. I just tried to draw as close to the original as possible. Also, I mixed the color with a little water so it wouldn't be too thick.
