I’m getting a lot of comments about the Brazilian flag in my kitchen and it was a gift from my good friend (and former roommate) who is Brazilian! She wanted my new apartment to have a piece of her in it and now whenever I see it I always think of her!💕 🇧🇷

Love your place.. I love thrifting too. I love those bookcases that separate your space from your kitchen to your living area.. simply Beautiful!

This is the kind of energy I am trying to create with my apartment ❤️ the only thing I would add is try checking out some flea markets/vintage shops for old picture/painting frames. You can just use command hook Velcro strips to hang them on your wall and center them around your art prints. Makes it look like you got yourself a fancy painting and frame when really you’ve made a deal!

Ah, so lovely. Memories of back when my living space reflected ME. 💗 Before 2 decades of marriage & kids meant my space reflected everything but me, but I was still to blame if it wasn’t pristine. 😡&😂 I’m counting on old age to completely reverse course. 😁

Aw, love it! This place is exactly what I would've loved when I was studying literature! :) I also love so many of the familiar titles on your shelves, but I'm intrigued by those VHS tapes. I finally relinquished mine more than a decade ago when I left them behind with my old VCR.
