Students Surprise Teacher of 50 Years
As the year ends, we say goodbye to Morah Barbara Treitel, a dedicated Yavneh Teacher for the last 50 years. The other day, at our Banquet, students from her 50 years of teaching surprised her. There was not a dry eye in the house!

Oh dear Lord why didn't I have a teacher like her in my school years! Sad but I survived the bullying nuns, teachers & kids to be a strong 70's plus woman I am today! Thank you dear God for looking after me & keeping me strong!❤❤

It’s educators like her that make such a great impact on the future. I have a few teachers/professors that I think of fondly and thank for helping myself and others realize our potential. For those educators, thank you for all you do.

So much respect between a teacher and her students a bond was formed a teacher is a friend and sometimes a lifelong friend as I watch this video it brings tears to my eyes because I will no longer see my own teacher cause she was taken from this world and I will never forget her Thank you sign Derek

These small gestures matters. Just write an e-mail or a letter to the teachers that contribute even a minute thing in your life. . Do simple things. Just let them know that you appreciate and those little things matter. I don't know about America but here in India, a labourer can earn more than a teacher. It's a cliche but now I realised when I became a teacher that the quote "Your success is our only reward." is quite true.
