​@@tigerrrtrainerSo how many Palestinians can be sacrificed to protect Israel? Many of them are too young to have any influence on what Hamas does or does not. On the other hand, Israel has an incredibly powerful army and that there was a failure by the army and security services that made 10/7 possible is evident. That does by no means take away responsibility from Hamas. But I think that Israel has other options to protect its people that does not involve killing innocent civilians which BTW only creates future generations of people that want to kill Israelis. Israel does have a right to defend itself, but self-defence should always try to avoid unnecessary harm and violence. Given that Israel is powerful, self-defence does not make continuing the war a necessity.

Supporting Palestinians is not antisemitic.

That's what ignited what happened on Oct 7, to begin with. Hamas wanted to take in some israeli hostages so they would be able to trade/exchange after getting some leverage.

Bravo modern young human beings who are expressing their love for humanity.

of course it's a domestic issue as US government is actively funding, arming, sanctioning, and provide diplomatic cover for parties involved in the conflict.

Arrests in these protests are mostly theater. When protesters are trespassing, the police give lots of warning so that the people who don't want to be arrested have plenty of time to leave. So, the ones who are arrested are the ones who want to be arrested, probably just to be seen on video being "oppressed." The actual penalty is a very small fine, if even that.

No, most Americans simply disagree with these protesters. In a March poll of US voters, 79% said they favored Israel over Hamas in the war. And although the U.S. had already been giving Israel billions of dollars of military aid, 56% said they were in favor of a bill to give far more. These students may be loud, but they're advocating a minority position in the U.S.

This is the best time for Netanyahu. He ias a president in the US, who is very supportive of Israel, but who might lose election to another pro Natanyahu for not reigning in Natanyahu. For Biden, the best decision is to go hard against Natanyahu, and maintain his democratic base. Since that is the only way for him to defeat Trump.

We see this repeat itself throughout recent history, students and people standing up for the rights of the oppressed. Luckily, they always succeed. I pray for these brave young souls to continue the fight for justice and common humanity. Israel has become probably the biggest irony in recent history considering they’ve gone full circle and mimic the oppressors of their grandfathers.

Throughout history, the majority of the people adhere to the religion of their rulers, but what is happening in the United States is a deep gap between the rulers and the people. Sacred religious knowledge must be spread among the general public instead of restricting it to the ruling class in order to reduce the gap!

Anti genocide is NOT antisemitic. Genocide is anti humanity.

Human rights commission went on holiday

Seeing mass protests by the students from most coveted schools in US in support of Palestine and against genocide of Israel and US make me hopeful about humanity and make me have faith in humanity in future. This is the strongest support Palestine ever had since the start of this excruciating genocidal war of Israel and US led camp

Palestinians should move beyond organizing and financing protests in western countries and univs. They should build governance institutions and adopt a constitution. They should work hard, sweat with discipline and diligence. Nobody else will. Soon protesters will find some other cause.

How can you build anything in a country when everything you build gets bombed and you aren't allowed to transport building materials in because of a blockade, and when boats try to bring aid in they get boarded, in an act of piracy according to International Law, by the Israeli Military, and everyone on board secreted away to blacksites in Israel. How? Israel will not allow the conditions for good and stable governance to exist within Occupied Palestinian Territory. They are not even allowed to have an airport. There is no free coming and going. Everything has to be approved by Israel. Since the Palestinians aren't allowed sovereignty, that means Israel is directly responsible for the situation on the ground there, and by extension, for any consequences thereof. I don't condone violence against civilians, and my heart breaks for all suffering, but exactly for that reason, do we not have to sympathize with Palestinians? What would you do in their place? If all your "hard work, sweat, discipline, and diligence" was not allowed to pay off because you were living under a violent occupation. I am pretty sure you would fight back. And call the fighting back by whatever means you had at your disposal self-defense. And when you got genocide-level-attacked in retalliation and the world called that self-defence and called you a terrorist, I bet you'd have a different opinion on this topic...

What kind of right to free speech is being exercised by these young people ? Most of them are hiding both their face and head. Don’t we have a right to see their face also, to know who is speaking and what they are speaking ? Is this free speech or biased speech ?
