Taylor is a second-year student at Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine (KYCOM) in Pikeville, Kentucky. He graduated from The University of Toledo in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a concentration in neuroscience and a minor in chemistry. While at Toledo, he participated in research labs dedicated to studying optogenetics and molecular signaling pathways that influence neuronal behavior in Caenorhabditis elegans. Since entering medical school, he has co-authored multiple articles in neurosurgery, the most recent being, "An Examination of the Prospective Uses and Future Directions of Neuralink: The Brain-Machine Interface." Taylor is also the Class President for the Class of 2023 at KYCOM and enjoys exercising and following the news of his favorite football team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, in his free time.
