STUCK IN THE THYSSENKRUPP IMPULSE ELEVATOR AT SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!
BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!
So everything I did in this video is what to do when you get stuck in an elevator (NEVER TRY AND PRY OPEN THE DOOR) and yes you will hear the 911 operator on the elevator ADA compliant phone saying not to pry open the door. Also NEVER EVER TRY AND TRY AND OPEN THE ESCAPE HATCH YOURSELF!!!! That can be fatal and possibly you could die trying to do that so if the escape hatch needs to be opened the fire department will open it and give you further directions. I am aware that this very same situation happened to Another elevator enthusiast on a Thyssenkrupp impulse elevator at Best Western Arroyo Roble hotel conference and breakfast building in Arizona over 10 years ago with the worn out rear door operator but apparently after they fixed that elevator it ran well unlike this elevator you see here in this video.
What you do when you get stuck:
1. Press all the buttons except for the alarm and phone to see if the door opens or if the car starts moving
2. If the elevator still doesn’t do anything press the alarm and hold it for 5 seconds
3. If nothing happens after that press the elevator phone to call for help and if that doesn’t work use your cell phone to call for help
4. Follow the directions the 911 operator says
And answer any questions they ask
5. Wait calmly for help
6. Once help arrives (Maintenance and/or Fire Dept.) follow directions that you are given by emergency services.

Me, my brother, and my sister got stuck in a elevator at the mall parking garage yesterday. We we on the first floor, but the door never opened. My brother tapped the call button and pushed the alarm, and it took more than ten minutes for a security officer got us out. We also tapped the door open button, but it didn't do anything.

I personally think this is why they dont allow kids to use the school elevators without a permit because of this kind of risk of people getting stuck however what is really odd is when you go on a field trip and even in a multifloor building they force you to take the steps even though the people are legally on public property and not on school property

I have a similar experience. One time, I was on the elevator heading to the room with my family. It was fine as we first got there but when we rode it again, the elevator stopped at 3, and we stopped there for about 10 sec. This is when I knew the elevator had a malfunction and it took us back to the lobby. The another time when it happened is when I was getting sunglasses and there was no room for a hotel worker to get in, then, when the doors closed, it did the same malfunction again. This was from last year. It was in Dearborn michigan. I've never in my life caught a malfunction before so it was a first for me The hotel had a kone elevator (Monospace?)

@@bryanschlippjr4894 I’ve actually had elevators that did very similar things to me in the past. I even had doors that got caught on an interlock and were stuck at one point.
How long were you stuck for

About 20 minutes. It ended up starting to move again which I won luck. I talked to a TKE technician and the interlock failed on the 2nd floor

They let me ride the elevators here at my school. The door ended up coming off of the tracks and made a loud gunshot noise. After the incident we had Thyssenkrupp come do some maintenance on this thing.

Honestly, the Thyssenkrupp at my school is very unreliable, and I heard people say that they were stuck in them before
