The white porcelain piece may be part of a bedside lamp ,the centre hole being where the metal rod was placed and the wiring threaded through. Thank you for the lark.

I always think those smaller blobby melted bottles would be great for windchimes. Not the chimes themselves but the weight or whatever it's called that hangs in the middle and gets moved by the wind to make the chimes ring. Anyway, just my thoughts. Thank you for sharing your adventures and finds!

Ok, just guessing on the copper item, maybe it covered a button to a piece of equipment that needed to be protected so it wouldn't accidentally get pushed. Your porcelain round piece, go ask grandma I know she knows! 😊 I gasped so loud Alex when you found the scarab piece! It's awesome! Sending much love and hugs!!!!❤

It never ceases to amaze me that you find individual lost beads as beads are normally used in groups. The little brass cover might be to protect a button on an airplane that does something like expel a bomb, or activate an escape mechanism. Some sort of thing you would not want to use by accident.

Some lovely bead finds today. I was willing you to take the wonky poison bottle, it was really cute. The weird looking crestware was part of a bud vase with multiple holes, I think they held five flowers in total. That scarab cabochon is beautiful, can’t wait to see what you create with it.

When my sister and I were small children, we learned how to break the dead small branches off (so that we could make our hidden paths to the fence to visit with the children who lived on the other side. We would play together through the fence wire until our mother, or their mother, called. Then we would crawl, very quickly, back through the blackberry bushes without mother knowing that we were visiting and playing with the children who lived on the farm next to ours. You can break off the dead branches and weave the ones that cannot be broken up and out of your way. Anna and I could crawl through those hidden paths without getting our garments torn or our skin cut. Our younger brothers joined us when our mother started letting them follow us. Needless to say, both sets of parents were very upset when they learned how long we had been visiting and playing together. They were trying to keep all of us from catching Poliomyelitis (Polio). After one end of the fence fell down, we played together everyday (until we moved away).

Last week's mystery find - the ceramic round disc with ridges running along it - I have solved the mystery! It's what you put in a pan of water, that you then bring it to the boil - for boiling potatoes, or whatever - and the ceramic disc stops the pan from boiling over. You can still buy these here in Australia at kitchen ware shops. My mum had a few of them - and they work - you should test yours out! Also, the reason there was an Egyptian revival in the 1920s, in jewellery, fashion and architecture, was because the Englishman Howard Carter discovered Tutankhamun's tomb full of fabulous treasures, in 1922. Amazing!

When you go to the beaches where you know there will be bushes & brambles, I think Alex should plan to put her hair up under a hat completely so she doesn't have to worry about it getting caught in things.. Alex, that brass piece that opened and closed looks like a toilet lid for a dollhouse. I've been watching the miniature channel from Kit and Caboodlers, can you tell? What a wonderful bead day you had! That scarab cabochon is amazing. Another wonderful video.

@@sticklebacksummer i didn‘t want to offend anybody. I guess it would be like calling me from Germany a Bavarian although living in the western part. 😅 I certainly meant: my favourite Artists living in Scotland. 😅

I think that white ceramic piece is part of a coffee pot. Like the ones in motel rooms. I think if you cast that horses head in silver, you could sell alot of them at equestrian gatherings. I love your videos. I always learn something new.

The brass object could be a peep hole cover on a door .The white object could be a lamp piece.❤😊

Yay! Love when I’m ready to chill out and see an upload from you guys. 😊❤ Alex, you remind me of my own young adult daughter- so hardworking! Gail, you remind me of my own mother- very artistic. Always brings me joy watching you two in all of your endeavors. 🥰 4:10 Gorgeous Venetian or Czechoclovakian bead! 14:50😆 15:14 Lock cover for steamer trunk? 16:52 They burned the dump piles because of the flu epidemic and later, polio. This is why the tips are loaded with vials, medicine bottles, and spoons. Anything used to treat someone with communicable disease back then was just incinerated. 19:35 Radiator cap? 20:18 Very possibly blue jade scarab. Wow, love it! Hope it’s a Niger Brothers’ bead. 😊Alex, you should cast that with tinted resin and make them into a set- ring, bracelet, earrings and necklace! 38:24 Looks like a ceiling fixture for a chandelier or lighting.

9:33 Gail, take the skate!!! It would be so cute in the garden with a pot on it! (Probably very heavy to carry...) 18:49 Alex, when you found the "mushy" button (can''t imagine what that feels like), you didn't want that beautiful piece of glass in the upper left corner?? I did! 😁 (It was probably plastic, sigh...) 25:05 Alex, when you found the ravishing little terra cotta head, was the thing to the left a (boat] propeller)? Another action-packed, suspenseful, productive, and enlightening adventure! Thank you so much for taking the time to create these for us. We love watching! One of your. legions of fans in Seattle...🙋🏽‍♀️🩷

That fire-fused beads would make a good center pendant to represent a pair of blue berries.
