Не перестаю восхищаться Александром, его мастерством, уникальным даром пианиста-виртуоза. Его техника игры, а ему сейчас ещё нет и 19 лет, в моём понимании безупречна. Он очень глубоко чувствует и понимает язык музыки, своей блестящей игрой умеет передать тончайшие сложнейшие музыкальные оттенки произведений, которые исполняет. Если сравнивать Сашу с Денисом Мацуевым (а Денис старше Саши в два раза), то Саша уже сейчас не менее значимая личность. Александр - умнейший, талантливейший парень - трудяга! Мало иметь природный дар. Чтобы раскрыть этот дар во всём блеске и великолепии, надо ещё много упорно работать, постоянно совершенствуя себя, оттачивая технику пианизма до совершенства. Я сам когда-то учился музыке, знаю, какой это нелёгкий труд. И он - этот ежедневный труд раскрывает возможности Саши. У Александра Малофеева огромное будущее на пути к мировым Олимпийским вершинам музыкального искусства. Россия может и обязана гордиться таким уникальным самородком, помогать ему во всём. Alexander is not Artur. He will make his own choices, based wholly upon his own needs, and I believe he would say that the piano is his slave and not vice-versa.

Sasha said that music is a universal language. He loves Prokofiev. It is a great honor for him to perform on the same stage with great musicians and conductors (Spivakov, Pletnev, Matsuev, Berezovsky ...). He likes the philosophy of Dante's Divine Comedy. For the third time he reads "Eugene Onegin" by Pushkin and loves to read biographies of great musicians and composers, because it helps to reveal the secrets of their works. For him, happiness is to share his emotions with the public ... He said that only after 100 years he could be appreciated as a musician)))

Притом Онегин это то что в ее пять лет поразило Цветаеву , дав ей представление о строении красоты драматического конфликта и далее его инверсии. Это у самой Марины описано. И как Марина не пожелала стать пианисткой , при том что пианисткой была ее мать. ...да и у Пушкина много о музыке в стихах.

Alexander is a brilliantly talented pianist. But does he have any time to relax? Time to be with young friends? Does he have a dog? I can't help feeling that he is over-worked and has little time for fun activities like soccer or sailing. Maybe he wouldn't want that...

In this interview, his handsome face looks tired and rather unhealthy - as if he never gets out to walk in the sunshine or breathe fresh air. OK, he has extraordinary talent and loves his music, but he is probably under enormous pressure from adult handlers to do unnaturally long hours of practice. Notice the darkness below his eyes and shiny skin. Somebody should invite Alexander to go skiing! He is already famous enough and his fame will grow and grow!

He said in an interview if he had more free time, he'd spend it practicing. I believe him! He's simply crazy in love with music. I dont think he feels he's a slave to it at all.

But he comes from a very strict teaching environment and I worry that he may be afraid of not doing the absolute maximum the professors demand of their super-talented pupils. Someone on KZread has already mentioned the dark rings under his eyes - seen in some videos - suggesting overwork. I wonder what his mum thinks....

I can translate it for you. I am American, but my grandmother was Russian, my favorite person. My Russian is fluent. He said , to the end that in his understanding I order to become professional musician you must serve the music itself. He as well said that he is very happy and honored to work with incredible conductors , that he feels very grateful to his teacher professor Berezovskaia , who opened the doors to the depths of music. He as well compared pianist with the artist who has the palette of colors , which are emotional expressions and that he as an artist is trying to live through thous emotions, to become one with the music and through his being to express it outwardly towards the audience. I am telling you , this is mature musician! It is clear that the satisfaction the music and the performance brings him enormous amount of inner joy. No doubt , his teacher not only taught him music and it’s nuances, but she did penetrate his soul to make him see the greatness of music , but not in ego serving way but to serve music itself. I think it’s hugely remarkable, everything about him, it’s like god itself shines light on his way , and he humbly serves the music. Nothing is able to unite people, as does the music . I absolutely admire its power! He also said that language of music is universal and everyone in the world can understand it , which is also important to him. The narrator said in the beginning, that his parents just out of intention to give their children good education, gave Alexander and his sister to piano teacher ,never thinking that they will become professionals. That the decision was made entirely by Alexander. I found Alexander 3 days ago and was so impressed that I did listen to everything available, I did also google him and found out that he isn’t from musicians family or surrounding. His father is an engineer. Alexander is the gift to us all . So much beauty , so much of intelligence!

Where are all the subtitles in English so we can better understand his enormous gift?
Something he says grotesque about prokofiev part. I thought this picture was taken newborn and I don't understand why they interrupt classic that he intends. He should somehow figure the way he continues by himself, or oe I really didn't want to listen to such emotional music which people applause without emotions. Anyway too many propaganda until he was refused tchaikovsky festival.

Не язык и что то там в Божественной комедии. Привлекают. А архитектоника текста. То что в том тексте знал и Мандельштам. Ну и КСК наверно. Что секреты и интерес Ахматовой сверхуенный именно к этому произведению. Из-за именно томика Данте поссорились Волошин и Мандельштам.
