Can you explain in some detail how you installed it? Did you use the splicing clips provided or solder the wires together? Did you hook it up to the black wires on the brake switch? Thank you so much.

I already have a 3rd brake light running its own wiring from the back brake wiring along the swingarm and up and around the seat. I just tapped into this using Posi-tap connectors. This allowed me to mount the module on top of the bottom frame rail just behind the motor mount. That is the flattest part that I could really find anyway.

Kevin, it is cool to see this actually works on a ryker. I ordered mine earlier this week. Did u have this hooked up to ur third brake light u installed or the regular break light? Cause I was going to hook up to my regular brake light.

My third is tied into the brake line and I hooked this up to those wires, so all brakes will have the function no matter where you put it.

@@7042DiscGolfer its a Morimoto 5 stop. Theretrofitsource is the place to grab it. Brightest ones I know of!

Absolutely. I have learned that if you start the bike while parked upwards, that you would need to re-start the bike on flat ground because calibration would be off and flash all the time while moving.

What wires did you use to connect to during the installation? I used the 2 black wires near the brake pedal and my brake lights would not go off. What did I do wrong..

I connected to a new wiring harness that I installed for the 3rd brake light. If you check out Ryker Rydes, she hooked up using the wires you have and explains it well on her video.

@@ExcelsiorDDZ I did use her video. I also spoke to her because she experienced the same issues. She discontinued the use of the product after her brake failed. Thanks.

with the 2 blacks like a video on youtube and it dont work
