I’m glad I watched this. I never knew about the strut covers. I have a few of the same mods on my 15. I have the black strut brace and the same hood struts. Now I’m ordering the strut covers for sure.

Disconnecting the battery doesn't result in all the issues you mentioned,these are modern cars, there are miniature battery backups to prevent erasure. I installed the SR strut tower brace on my 2016 mustang gt, according to directions and, removed the positive cable, nothing was erased,radio stations presets, clock,driver assists all remained unaffected.
