For ease of straightening the pipe, buy a short section of PVC ( like 2 ' long) add a coupling for that pipe. Add the coupling to one end of the PVC. Feed the flexible tube through that as you unroll it. Spray with some soap for sliding easily. This will help straighten the pipe as it is unrolled. The size of PVC will depend on whether you bought a 1/2" coil or a 3/4 coil of pipe.

Good video. I’m going through the exact same thing right now, with 300’ 3/4” Maxline, 7 drops and two ceiling mounted hose reels. 🤔😫 I’m glad you pointed out the screws and mounting clip problem. Thanks. Also, if you are using 3/4”, what size wrenches do you need? 1 3/8 and another smaller one. Glad to see others screw up as much as I usually do. I thought I was unique 😬 Paul

One of the small bucket head vacuums from Home Depot work good for the dust extraction.

Have a link for that 1/2” to 1/4” reducer to the quick disconnect at the manifold? Cannot for the life of me find that adapter.

Looking forward to seeing your extraction for the blasting cabinets.I have a cabinet myself and 'might' have come across a simple solution.

Already started working on the sandblasting video! Though, to spoil it for you, I just use a shop vac. nothing fancy. Though I do plan on adding one of those 5 gallon bucket cyclone separators when I get a chance

@@AudacityMicro What you could try is a long flexible plastic pipe. One end is connected to the bottom of the cabinet with the other end going out through a window, the idea being if long enough it should form a U-Bend that touches the ground with everything heavier than air collecting at the bottom of the U?

At least for my setup I need active suction to keep a negative pressure on the cabinet. It isn't sealed well enough to keep all the nasties in without that extra help.

You're not a bad pipe fitter. That stuff is just a pain to work with!
