Struggle/Hindi Namatay Si Rizal Para Lumandi Ka | Abby Orbeta | TEDxMiriamCollege
For her performance, Abby Orbeta graces us with two spoken word poems entitled, "Struggle" and "Hindi Namatay Si Rizal Para Lumandi Ka". The former piece deals with the story of growing up as a woman in a world where expectations are different and standards are high. The latter is a witty piece in Filipino which calls us to look beyond ourselves.
Abby Orbeta is a performer with Words Anonymous and currently a copywriter for an ad agency. She is an enthusiast of the performance arts dabbling in theater, film, storytelling, and most recently spoken word. She is an extroverted introvert who loves social media way too much, and her friends think she should break up with it.

You do you but Rizal certainly doesn't have anything to do with what i do or what i would do in the future. He did fight for our freedom but surely we don't owe him anything
