For those of u who r dumb to realize that this isent a house that is runned by employed career fore fighters. This is a volunteer house. Imagine being at a restaurant u just got ur food and u get called it takes u 5 minutes just for u to get on the road from the restaurant. Before criticizing how bout u do this for a day. And yes they walk they have to or else they can get hurt and then what. Im a currant volunteer for S.A.F.D. and most of yall shouldent be saying shit bc yall r running from the accident and waiting for us to help yall. We dont get paid to do this. 70% of firefighters r volunteers.

For a volunteer company 3 min is not bad at all. Also keep in mind that the details of the call are not disclosed in the video so it may be something that is not serious (i.e. flooded basement). Where I come from it is not uncommon for departments to take up to 6 min to get out the door, especially in the middle of the night. Just because it takes a long time to respond doesn't mean that they aren't a good company. Being a volunteer myself I understand how difficult it is. Don't mock until you have been a volunteer yourself.

Honestly most VFD's do better on response than some career departments so I'd say 6 mins out the door, in the middle of the night, isn't bad at all. Its understandable when you are shaking off sleep with adrenaline and coffee as you run out the door, drive up to 10 minutes to the house and then have to throw on your gear and get out the door.

awesome rigs man! never seen any that are green but they look cool I see nothing wrong with the response time or you being there. I've been through the same thing. my dad was a firefighter as well. which is why I am one now.

I don't know how accurate it is to say this but many fire fighters are because their dads or parents are or have been. My first ride was at 5 on a Mack that had no top and inside and outside windshield wipers. As they progressed, so did I until the times changed and I was told I could ride to the scenes anymore. So at 18 I hit the training cycle and became a fireman myself. Served my dad's last 5 years right along side amd on the same crew. I not am 3rd in command at the same department

Every fire dept had their flaws...response times, use of siren inside building or wait til they are xxx distance from the building. I've seen departments that can't even get a truck out the door. Don't criticize a dept because of stupid stuff. (I know my dept isn't perfect either) Keep up the good work J&GG Productions!!!

I am a city ff and i understand about the volley depts. but come on man, i counted at least 7 guys that i saw running inside the house. our engine and truck co. are manned by 4 guys on every rig. that engine should have rolled with 4 guys. did they wait for the whole dept to get there for the rig to roll out??? if you know this dept you should let them know that other volley depts have what they call a bunk in. this means guys work shifts but do not get paid. they can get something toward their retirement or even free medical.

You shouldn’t be allowed period. There’s the risk of death, and you take up valuable space that can be used for other members. It’s illegal in NY. Hopefully that changes. You shouldn’t do it unless it’s legal in all 50 states because each state has different rules. Let me know about your opinion.

You should of already been in the truck and out of the station with your gear on at @ 0:16 I am shocked it takes a volunteer department to roll out on a Structure fire call. Being with the fire department and law enforcement family for so many years I know that you have 15 minutes or less to Jump into your gear get in the truck and roll. Anything under a minute does not meet department regulation.

Safety First what super hero are you? 2 min. is pretty damn good for a Vol. F.D., do you except them to stay at the station. Paid Dept's. doesn't get out of the station in 16 sec. Good job guys.

Daniel Franklin okay yes he's young. but I went to fire calls with my dad at that age I had to sit at the station. And furthermore it's a volunteer department. that amount of time to get a full crew there is very good. my first fire department I was on was the same way so observe and understand before you go and criticize

I'm a former volunteer also. get in trouble with the state then. Kids shouldn't go to calls cause they'll be in the way & get someone hurt. Insurance company would love that one.
