Structural Family Therapy Intervention: Boundary Making Homework
This is my go-to intervention in structural family systems therapy. It's a great example of one of the techniques I use in a session that ties in theory with interventions. Minuchin was big on joining with families and this technique along with some roleplay can help when I am feeling the family needs help with structure and organization. It helps put parents back in charge, pulls the family closer together, and allows for a space that helps children be seen and heard while also encouraging them to advocate for their needs and wants.

I have to write a paper discussing a vignette of a family my instructor gave me and write about a treatment plan for them using SFT. Your videos on the subject have been so helpful in clarifying some concepts and interventions. Thanks!
