Hello, the places you appied the fixed support are also fixed in the reality?

Hello, Your videos are very good. I modelled platfrom you made in your video where you used line body technique. But in this video @14:56, I see that you have used Surface Body. Please can you advise how we can convert all line bodies to surface bodies of the platform. I shall be very grateful for your guidance. Thanks

Hi, Thank you so much for the Video. Could you plz explain either dead loads at each 4 joints/points are uniformly distributed loads or concentraited points loads?

Thanks for appreciation ! as we assumed point loads in the model, so it will equally distributed at four joints as point or concentrated loads.

I have a similar kind of frame model, but I feel something is missing becoz in my model when i check the directional deformation along Y axis, it is greater in the upper column than in the lower. No extra load except gravity has been provided. Can you explain?

Hello, you might checking vertical direction deformation. It is maximum at the upper column because you might have fixed in lower column and lower column is nearer to fixing location and hence it is minimum.

I have already designed the same way you designed topside module but its not the same way as this tutorial when come to the case of applying loads.. only line bodies are selecting when I'm trying to select surfaces

We had modelled using 1D beam elements, so no surface will presents. In this case loads are applied as per 1D beam configuration. If you want to apply loads on surface you can modelled topside module using shell surface or solid instead of 1D elements.
