Love gunny juice and is by far the best stuff I’ve used. Cruwear is lovely. Also love a good toothy XHP

Any thoughts on Spyderco Cruwear vs Benchmades?

Hey man I just found your channel and it seems like we have the same opinion about knives after watching your stretch vs pm2 and once I saw you giving cruware love I had to sub. Most important thing to me is good heat treating with good geometry in a steel with a good balance between edge retention and ease of sharpening

I recently got into stropping and my Para 3 S45VN strops up super easy and gets a stickyer edge compared to my AUS-10A, VG-10 and even Kershaw's 20CV

Leave the teeth on that thing man you don’t need no 1 micro

I'm a huge fan of Cruwear as well. It's a very well balanced steel.

It’s got great stability, edge retention and doesn’t have problems with rusting (at least for me). It’s one of my favorites. Thanks for watching

What do you think of 3v and 4v as far as stropping? I think it's the one decisive advantage those two steels have over cruwear, and probably the reason I prefer them. Nothing wrong with cruwear, though.

I am on the fence on whether to buy a Cruwear PM2 or a S45VN PM2. I live in Floirida but not on the beach. If I kep the Cruwear with a coat of frog lube should it not rust. The only reason I havent bought cruwear is out of fear of it rusting. Please any info is appreciated

The chromium content on Cruwear is about 7.25 while tool steels like m4 and k390 are at around 4. The more chromium the more stainless a steel is. You shouldn’t have any problems with rust especially if you are maintaining it. Thanks for watching

It dropped it to around 15-17 degrees. Benchmade using it with the mini Adamas gave me hope that more companies with use Cruwear. Thanks for watching

@@itsaknifestyle8482 I agree, the two Adamas' being released with it gives me hope too. Magnacut is the new kid on the block as I hear it. Several folders getting done in Magnacut, which is not really what it works best with, heavy duty Adamas or fixed blades is its groove spot.
