    that was a nice addition to your logging operation. I saw in a vision something with 4 wheels for the back of the log to eliminate the drag marks left by the trailing end of the log. thanks for the video.

    Thanks for the detailed review the wench is a nice feature the others did not have from what I saw on Northern website. I will be ordering this for our property we have 100s of trees and a lot of falling ash.

    Took 3 times for mine to come with all the parts. I love it. The 750 lbs. rating is to low.. I way over load it all the time with no issues. I use a tow chain with hooks on both ends. The chain it comes with is cheep. Also welded can’t hook holder on the side .

    Eric Toytech yeah I agree I bent the welded hooks for the chain on the first log way bigger in diameter. Mine came with all the parts but the box looked like it fell off the truck and parts were in my driveway

    Looks like a good serviceable log hauler. I think you summed it up well. It will be great for some logs, and not necessary for others. You really do need a welder though! Lol. If you have questions about that when you're in the market, get a hold of me brother.

    I'm sure you have seen in the northern tool book you can fully suspend the log with a extra attachment to the arch you already have then the log isn't getting full of dirt or tearing up the yard or driveway.

    Shawn Fox yeah the cart wheels in the back seems like extra work to get the other end up if I’m thinking of the same thing. I have just had issues with the front digging in and acting like an anchor.

    What size logs do the amish want? Do they need logs bigger than 8'6"?

  • @WorldsOkayestFarmer

    @WorldsOkayestFarmer

    Brett Buckley standard 8’6”,10’6”,12’6” still won’t pay a lot but more then the mill for undesired wood

    @@WorldsOkayestFarmer I'm talking for the amish. Do they make different size pallets? A log over a certain size may be a waste if they only make 4 ft pallets. Did you ask them what sizes they wanted?

  • @WorldsOkayestFarmer

    @WorldsOkayestFarmer

    Brett Buckley I don’t know what all they make but those are the sizes they want they are paying for board feet so I would imagine they don’t want to waste much

    Why aren’t you lifting the log up higher at the front. Now pretty well the whole log has been dragging in the dirt. Will surely dull the blade once it gets into all that sand and dirt.

    I picked on up today, having it shipped to a store. Hoping it will do the job, I have a lot of N T products. I was not impressed with the store. Staff very helpful, but they are not good on stocking logging equipment. I intended to buy a log jack, but the have a few timber tuff items but nothing for serious work. Harbor Freight is 15 minutes from there. No reason to go to the N T store unless I have an item shipped there.

    I have hauled much bigger logs than your 8 footer with ease . Just get the wheels for the rear end of the log . Also my wife got me what I consider to be the greatest tool ever . It’s a Log-a-sol smart pusher . It has a seat belt winch just like the one on your log arch and it’s attached to a piece of square tubing with a spike at the bottom of it that allows you to raise one side of the log way off the ground while you put your wheels beneath the back of the log . You will haul your logs with without wearing out your 4 wheeler or killing your grass or gravel .
