Grandmaster Tactician Randy Its because he took the Voltron theme, doubled the first note, and then set it to the Power Rangers' rhythm, and added in the Power Rangers Power Guitar. It's a pretty ingenious blending.

This was definitely one of Screw Attack's better Death Battle matches. The CGI was Awesome, the dialogue matched each franchise perfectly, and the battle was made to look like it could've gone either way...or at least to those who weren't well versed in either universe. ...-...Yes I realize that all the Voltron fanatics would realize the outcome from the get go; I'm talking about those who weren't into Voltron in their youth, and as such didn't know anything specific of the franchise.

GuardianPrime 208 Honestly, the outcome was only obvious because ScrewAttack picked the absolute worst megazord. Some megazords can compete with Voltron, but not that one. I mean, I get why they picked it; it's the most iconic. Still, though, it's a bit disappointing they didn't pick one a bit more evenly matched.

I have an Idea for what the cover art could look like (you know, like later Death Battle Tracks from Shredding Silver onwards) Have the Power Sword and the Blazing Sword clashing with each other, Power Sword comes from the left and the Blazing Sword from the right. Right at the point where the two swords clash, there are Sparks and Flames coming from the point of impact. At the top of the picture, right above the two swords, there are five Power Rangers Lightning Bolts, each of them are shooting different coloured beams straight down behind the swords, from left to right the colours of the beams are Blue, Yellow, Red, Pink, and Black. As the beams fire downwards and disappear behind the swords, the beams change both direction and colour, and then reappear underneath the two clashing swords, coming straight towards the camera at the bottom of the picture, this time the colours of the beams from left to right are Red, Blue, Black, Yellow, and Green. It is then shown that the beams are trailing behind the five heads of the Voltron Lions. There's a couple of Videos by Niall Stenson where he plays 20 different Power Rangers themes on guitar, and there's a picture of the power Rangers beams in both of them that does the sort of thing that I'm trying to explain here if you need reference What do you think?

I like how the lyrics for "One shall win and one, shall die" and "team will get severed", the darkest lines in these lyrics, happen right as the music seems to cut itself back as if you punctuate the reality of how this fight can only end. Well done dude!

Ah, the sweet sound of a Brandon Yates soundtrack accompanying an epic fight. What a way to start things off.

This got my nostalgia pumping so much. While I'm disappointed in SA's decision on who would ultimately win, I wasn't disappointed by the animation and its music, especially the battle music. Great work, B-man. Remind me to get you back sometime for a new project.

On god. The Remaster went too hard on the heavy guitars that that the main elements of the song were lost. Like the digital/techno sounds were overshadowed if not removed

Human Being The only ones I can even think of standing a chance are Mystic Force, The outer space one (forgot their name), or Samurai Force, The Last of which got really strong near the end with a lot of different combinations and megazords so it’d be pretty equal arsenal wise

I don't think any music could have been better suited. Seeing this fight gave me such goosebumps and saw my childhood dream of this fight come to life finally.

Now this is the ultimate theme for battle of Voltron vs Power Rangers. Each part of the song is almost telling each side of what they have been through. Two sets of five combatants, two robots, one battle that will decide it all. And this scoring the battle is just fantastic to listen to!

I think this has to be your best piece yet, if only because of how hype it is.

This is my #1 favorite Death Battle, and so far, no other battle has taken its place yet.

I knew the Power Rangers would lose the moment I saw the match up... But HOT DAMN was that fight amazing!!!

Darn, those poor Rangers never stood a chance. At this point, I'll be surprised if anyone from the Power Rangers franchise wins a Death Battle, because they don't really seem suited for it. But that aside, I LOVE the work you've done for this fight. Really captures the essence of both franchises, something you've certainly done well since this track. Regardless of the outcome of any Death Battle, I always look forward to the music, regardless if its done by you or Therewolf Media. But I always find myself listening to your works more, I guess its just coincidence; in fact your music is so good there's literally a few Death Battles I wanna see just based on what kind of track could come from it (of course the fights make sense as well, you can't just put two random fighters together and expect a Death Battle to be made, the fighters do need to have a specific theme they match).

I didn't really notice until my second time through watching the fight bug god DAMN, this is some good music!

This sounds awesome! Ron Wasserman would be proud (the man behind the music for Mighty Morphin up to In Space for those who don't know). I know you said this is a mix of the themes to both series but I mostly hear Power Rangers in this; or at the very least it has a Power Ranger-esque sound to it than Voltron.

When i hear this, i imagine a pitched battle between angels and faeries, with the faeries losing. Out of nowhere, the calvary arrives: a squadron of five fire faeries letting the Song of Reinforcement ring out from their trumpets. 0:00 Powering up the magic of all allies within earshot and relieving their fatigue with renewed vigor. Soon ice faeries join in with the other half, their Song of Weakening, from the strings of their Shamisens (the guitar bits) to debilitate all enemies in the area, decisively turning the tides against the angelic horde. Badass.

Earth faeries put their drums into building the fantasy equivalent of a giant robot out of the very landscape, while water faeries make the sky rain pressurized needles.

I knew this would be your music! Amazing soundtrack!

Thing is with this particular battle, I didn't care who won, I loved BOTH Series as a kid and have ALWAYS wanted to see this one.

the music is fantastic just like the battle power rangers vs Voltron is easily one of the best death battles ever made.

Andrew Meyer Legendary is pretty damn powerful, and has a range that the original megazord doesn’t

Most likely, not one single PR could defeat Voltron. That would require teaming up of as many PR teams as possible and using (nearly) every single zord they have. These Mighty Morphin Power Rangers had Dino Megazord , Dragonzord, Titanus, Thunderzords, White Tigerzord, Tor, Ninja Megazord, Falconzord and Shogun Megazord (the last one was later given to Alien Rangers of Aquatar). These ones would be needed to defeat the original 80's Lion Voltron. But if all zords of Mighty Morphin were used, that will allow Voltron to team with other Voltrons of the same continuity: Vehicle Voltron, the Voltron from Voltron 3D (which is actually the same Lion Voltron with extra ability to morph into Stealth Voltron), and Voltron from Nicktoon's Voltron Force (again, an upgraded 80's Voltron with five combined forms). Together, Voltrons are so strong that Power Rangers would need zords from the whole Saban Era (Mighty Morphin - Wild Force), mostly Disney Era, too (Ninja Storm - RPM). And if Voltron from Legendary Defender was added, that would basically mean Power Rangers need zords of all shows from Mighty Morphin to Beast Morphers. If it was zords of Mighty Morphin - Beast Morphers, 1995 MMPR: The Movie, Lionsgate's Power Rangers reboot movie and Super Sentai against all Voltrons, Golion and Dairugger XV, maybe then Power Rangers would win for sure, because many of their respective Sentai counterparts are stronger than American Megazords, especially Daizyujin compared to Dino Megazord.
