@@skunkofftackle Man strangest thing we had like 5 or 6 short strikes late in the afternoon on Saturday pulling 10-12" trout. its like they would only get em up to the gills. Guess i needed stingers. i loosened the drags up and let run with the boards a little longer trying to get a hook up but it just wasnt working. not sure what the deal was. could have just been smaller fish with big egos lol

@@merceroutdoors People would be surprised at how small of a fish will at least try to eat a big bait. I think my "record" is a 26in striper on a 14in bait. Now he did just get the stinger but he tried!!

Yes we are using gizzard shad. Mostly dollar bill size or bigger
