My thoughts exactly lol

I'm sure you already know to get these back into the water ASAP. The long fight depletes all the oxygen in their blood and getting them right back in so they can breathe is the right thing to do! VERY COOL! We had to drag a big sailfish along side the boat for a while after a long fight in Cabo to save it. Thankfully, it worked!

What forgotten rods would you recommend we keep an eye out for at garage sales and so on, that would be effective here on Long Island for South Shore Beaches? I'm intrigued and looking to 4X4 permit up the day after Labor Day and be young again! Maybe eat well too! Nothing beats from your hook to your table! Looking for a high quality used rig at a forgotten bargain! Hey.... I'm old too. LOL

Nice bass. My biggest so far is a fat 23 incher. The slot size in my area I usually fish is over 26.8 inches so I’ve still never caught a slot striper 😢 hopefully tomorrow I’ll catch one.

In New York you can only keep striped bass in between 28” and 31”, this one was too big

Definitely not the west coast lol. If you think its a shark and it's a bass, you know its massive!!!!!

wow listen seeing how I have never caught even one striped Bass from the open beach my record as of now is Robert Moses 12,, me - zero could you take pity on me and give me a five mile range where this open beach might be?

This is small for a whale. 😮 But 95% of anglers won't catch a small whale this size in their lifetime. Heavy congrats.
