So, when we start the string do we push the string down. Or it should be near the top of the nail. Thank yoi for the amazing video

Hello! I don't usually push my string down- The head of the nail will hold your string in place, that's why I also loop it so it doesn't move. The only time I would push my string down is if there are several layers of string. I have done other pieces where this was necessary due to the amount of different string layers. Hope this helps!

I usually use "fine crochet thread size 10"
