The US and allies wage war without declaring war, breaking international treaties and their own constitutions I might add. There is no mandate from the citizens.

Ukraine was a buffer zone between NATO and Russia, like Finland used to be. NATO members did their best to keep it a buffer zone and keep the peace (-> see France and Germany in 2008 ensuring that the idea of Ukraine entering NATO would be quickly abandoned by explaining they would veto it at every turn). Putin invaded that buffer zone, which is an attack against NATO. The rest is semantic to avoid the escalation to get out of control and this conflict Putin started to become nuclear. ps: and nobody can prevent China from doing what China wants ;p (China is really, really strong, like an order of magnitude over Russia). It's just that depending on what they do, consequences will ensue and China is looking for its own interest first and foremost.

Do you believe that Russia will allow its strategic infrastructure to be destroyed without reacting? I think not, for several reasons. Firstly, allowing such an event would put both the Ministry of Defense and the Security Council chaired by Putin in an illegal position. Secondly, attempting to destroy strategic infrastructure threatens the very existence of the Federation, which necessitates a response that includes the nuclear arsenal.

Galician loss rate is now at 11200 which is 1600 a day up from 1000 in April and 900 in March. In June the loss rate will reach 2000 a day. This will then mean 60'000 losses a month. Russia recruits 30'000 new soldiers every month, while the Ukraine loses twice that many. Every child knows that this is quickly leading to collapse. If Russia opens Cherny and Sumy fronts losses will reach 2500 a day at least in July and if in August Russia complements this by paralyzing Kiev and taking Odessa then loss rates in August and September will reach up to 5000 a day which means one full brigade every day and one dividion every 3 days and one army corps in 2 weeks and a whole army in 6 weeks. There will be no army left in September, and the new recruits will increase the loss rate dramatically as 3months training double the loss rate and 6 weeks again and below 3 weeks you have a 5x higher loss rate compared to a soldier that was trained 6 months or a year. All simple arithmetics show that the Ukraine is ended in September.

I assume the long range missile plot along with the ambiguity inherent to it (yeah it's totally the Ukrainians picking and choosing all the targets bro wink wink) is more or less meant as a last ditch attempt to basically blackmail Russia into a conflict freeze on terms more favorable to the West because if they refuse then we'll start lobbing long range missiles deep into their territory at vital strategic targets and I guess the assumption/hope is either that the Russians would never dare respond in kind or perhaps they know there's a chance of it but actually want them too so they can then try paint them as the aggressor attacking NATO countries with missiles to justify further escalation still on their part such as sending in a contingent of ground forces or declaring a no fly zone over Ukraine or something. I don't think even that would do much to sway Westren public's to be more willing to fight Russia directly at this stage though because most people will recognize that we were the first to start trying to carpet bomb Moscow with atacms and frankly most people as well have been checked out since like 2022 and have moved into the next current thing long ago so they won't like that their politicians pulled such bullshit to drag this thing back to the precipice of WW3 again since they're sore losers.

Russia can buy extra sam systems from China-Iran to protect rafineries-strategic sites. Sellers wont be part of the conflict as these are defensive items to be used only inside Russia protecting strategic sites. However if ceasefire signal comes from Ukraine Russia having the upper hand needs to accept the freeze of frontline and vice versa. Otherwise conflict wont finish. If there is a good ceasefire monitoring system it can hold although both countries will inevitably rearm. There can be guarantor countries for Russia as well if Ukraine destroys the ceasefire ater rearming other countries can openly sell uavs and other offensive military equipment to Russia for example as part of agreement. That can hold the ceasefire. The key would be having a ceasefire monitoring system that is good enough.

seems like the second bridge "destroyed by Russia" .. there was an ucranian truck, we can presume they were mining the bridge to destroy it when the truck got hit, maybe operators were not in the truck and they were able to finish the mission and destroy the bridge.. ? is that possible?
