Kevin Stea and Carlton Wilborn, the original dancers from Madonna's Blond Ambition tour (1990) revisit the historic concert, in the documentary "Strike a Pose," directed by Ester Gould and Reijer Zwaan. The film allows each dancer to tell their story during and after the Madonna's legendary world tour.
Now, 26 years later, the original members reveal the truth about life and taking in and digesting the iconic world tour in the documentary "Strike a Pose." The film is a dramatic tale about overcoming shame and finding the courage to be who you are.
In this exclusive interview we go further, behind the scenes, and the making of the documentary and find out about Madonna, the superstar these men came to know.

Thanks - this is a really touching interview! I remembered watching the tour DVD for years and was so inspired by Madonna's brazenness and the dancers having so much fun - in some way, it contributed to my dream chasing and getting lost in the swirl of it all... I needed a reminder.

Who is Mama Makeup?

The chubby young woman who did makeup on them during the 1990 tour. She was also makeup artist on the MJ Dangerous tour I noticed.

Mama Makeup's story about sexual assault taking place and Madonna and particularly Nikki's reaction to it always seemed a bit off to me. She clearly states she was dancing and enjoying herself then waking up naked the next day and feeling sore and not really knowing what happened. I was surprised more wasn't made of it at the time. I hope she is well.
