I have never seen an adaptation so perfectly cast like this. Everytime someone is introduced, I felt like each character just isekai'd into our world. Amazing really

ok so decent video but mispronouncing Luffy's name and using Eiji Aonuma's photo and saying he's Eiichiro Oda... I mean come ON. Just trying to be constructive, a little more research would elevate your content.

Ok don't hate me for this, but I tried to start anime One Piece, but I couldn't keep up with it, maybe because the style of the characters wasn't my thing. I watched only a few episodes but I stopped. Didn't catch my interest, didn't conect with the characters...I don't know exactly but I thought the pace was too slow for me,so I stopped watching it and never wanted to start it again. I just thought that it wasn't my type of anime. But when the Netflix series went out, I didn't even watch the trailer because...it was One Piece and as I said, I wasn't interested at all...in fact I rolled my eyes because...hello...it was going to be another failure of an adaptation...BUT I decided to watch the first episode just out of curiosity AND I FELL IN LOVE WITH IT!!!! How is it possible?I loved all the characters! I litteraly cried in emotional scenes and I don't cry easily! That was a revelation for me!! And now I'm am at a point where I don't know who I love more Zoro or Sanji? 😋I guess both. I finished the season in a day! And now I am depressed when is season 2 coming out?😢

Very nicely done and enjoyable commentary. I think you are on to one of the main reasons we all love this show. The commaraderie of the cast and the or obvious connection to each other is wonderful.

The cast is perfect and the rules are well thought about. In the anime the action szenes are gold so use the actors is a big plus. And its true you need to love the characters and actors to want to watch more of it. And this cast absolutly delivered.

I had never heard about One piece but I had a smile on my face the whole season and adore every character.

Cut hands from learning knife skills....well, oda tells everyone who wishes to work with him on the animethat they have to be willing to die for it so i guess we shouldnt expect any less for the live-action version.

Every adaptation should have a set of rules like this and should find people that are truly passionate about what they're doing to work on it. You can expect people to play characters faithfully if they have no idea what the f****** character is
