I’ve disliked most of the parents in the American series but these ones take the cake. (But they EARNED the cake. Don’t try to tell them that other people didn’t have the opportunities they did, or they’ll be OFFENDED.)

Did you notice that the push-up punishment ended after one time with Ronnie? That type of punishment doesn't go very far with someone who is in great shape and Ronnie definitely was.
These parents are just so easily offended like, you say something, even if you’re not trying to be disrespectful. They get offered and punish them for the dumbest things.

The push-up punishment didn't go far with Ronnie, who was in great shape and could do them easily.
It took actual real people who sat down with those kids and spoke to them like adults that made the difference! Not the horrendous parents.
They are all about punishment, what about encouragement?
Why is the mom asking where his mom went to school? he didnt say they had it easy , he said theyre not as fortunate. some ppl have other things that hold them back from being able to go to college sadly. it doesnt make them any less than or lazy like she said. i had to put my life aside ij order to help my mom who has health issues. smfh thats why the mom got so mad bc its probably true

College was not really for me. I worked full time in my field and went to school part time. I succeeded more in my job than in school.

I would say the mom is the most hypocritical and double standard parent on the show. Tell anyone not to be lazy but they just stand around themselves. Tell anyone not to be disrespectful but THEY are being disrespectful by being over controlling.
Sorry, but these parents are clearly not normal. First time, I feel sorry for ALL the kids.
It’s also funny that they think that the parents affected them, but it’s actually the people that talk to them that affected
Those parents were on something, I’m in high school and those are some of the most respectful well behaved teenagers I’ve seen.

Told my kids to clean their rooms if they didn't I would pick up everything on the floor and stash them. They would have to wait the next laundry day. They missed more than laundry, make-up, anything on the floor was stashed.
