Here in VA we call'em centipedes because of having 7 axles. Crazy when you have 6 axle we call them quints because of 3 drop axles also with a c13 twin turbo... got 6" stacks and she sings...that's what I have and with my 5% I can haul 71,925lbs.. which is almost 22 tons

@SSS Dias unfortunately we have this thing called bridge law or bridge formula. Factors in axle spacing, size tires, and how many axles you have. I know in Maryland they can haul what our centipedes haul down here in VA. Each state has there own rule, even though the trucks can haul 80k.

@SSS Dias you're absolutely correct. As for my truck it's a 2007 KW T800 with a 20ft box and weights wet, 28,600lbs. That's empty and full of fuel and hydraulic fluid. Truck is rated to haul 90k from factory, unfortunately VA won't allow that. So when I run at the quarry they came out and measured the length which was 24.5ft long. They have to round up to the nearest foot. So it's 25ft long. Without my 5% overload sticker my truck could only haul 68,500lbs. Now I can haul 71,925lbs but I can't run that on any interstate.

Nice rig both inside and outside I personally would prefer it as a dual steer tri drive or a Tandem dual steer with 1 rear self steer pusher dump truck And I think now with a super dump the max payload is about 58k pounds CMIIW

Yeah I see those sometimes they are just hilarious. Some only use just one or 2 of the lift axles and not all. I’d say why not have 3 drive axles in the back and 2 lifts? Hah hah lol. Sweet T800 though the interior looks real cool

Tbh I think the best thing to of done was take the cab, engine trans and rears and put new frame rails on it. Of course it’s easy to spend someone’s money.

That’s an awesome ride.. Does Texas allow over 80,000 lbs with all those axles.. Kentucky allows 80,000 on 4axles but not on Interstate because of federal bridge laws.....

Truck was 3 axle day cab with probably 50k gvwr , was the truck double.frame and once they adding 4 more axle was a new gvwr sticker added or they go based on length and axle you have on truck ? I'm asking because I would like to build something like this anyway you can find out or get me the guys or shop phone number ? Appreciate it
