I love how you look into the camera when you talk, it’s something many people forget about doing, and it really helps to connect, and the information was great too ! You’ve gained a new subscriber down here in NZ 👍🙂
Thankyou so much!! I was having so much trouble trying to get a 1mm stretch cord to stay tight!!❤
I've been string beading for a few years now. I've been putting off using stretch cord. So I tried it today using the Stretch Magic youtube tutorial. The knot just wouldn't hold. I figured there must be some other options out there. I came across YOUR youtube tutorial. Thank you very much! You saved me. YOUR knot didn't fall apart! Thanks again!

Do a surgeons knot ×2 and a surgeon knot is which can be done in 2 ways imo 1 over hand knot then the next knot wrap the cord twice and then pull tight that equals 1 surgeon knot then do it again so you have 2 surgeon knots... and alittle glue and let it set for atleast 20 hrs

Literally what she did lol
Thank you for breaking the knot technique in a way where I can understand! New subscriber!!!
Kelly, you are a doll! And such a good teacher. Great video for us early learners. Your accent takes me home, too. Keep up the great work!
I love your videos, your clear instructions and that you cover so many areas of jewelry making since I'm very new to this but very addicted! Thank you for taking the time to do this!!
Love your videos!! Thank you so much for making them. I’m a newbie beader and have no one to show me the way..thank you for being that person! 🙏🙂
THANK YOU!!!! You explained the difference between the stretch cords. I have subscribed because of that! Thanks again.
Beautiful bracelets thank you for explaining how to tie the ends correctly.
Thank you for explaining about the different size cords. As a beginner I did not understand about filling the beads hole. I made a few bracelets with stretch cord and they seemed to have too much cord showing when they were done and I couldn't figure out why. Now after watching your video I believe it's because I'm not using the correct size cord. Most videos do not explain enough about the cord and that is important information. Thank you, again.

Love the tutorial on stretchy cords I feel a more confident knowing I am tying the bracelets correctly
Thank you for this tutorial. I use the stretch magic a lot and was not sure if it was good. Glad to hear it is and that is a lovely bracelet and necklace design. 🤗💖

I LOVE this video!! I love stretch magic cord and it is the simplest to use. I like the way you give us confidence as u teach us how to tie the knot. Thanks!!
Very inspiring video! Thank you for your shortcuts on making a stretchy bead bracelet ❤❤
I love the earrings you are wearing in the episode. Absolutely gorgeous
Thank you for your easy to understand videos. I really appreciate the clear instructions. Also love your accent!
Nice video. It would have been nice to have a reference to the size of the beads for the specific cords you used. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you sooooo much Kelly I always wanted to know the differences!!! Thank you again!! Blessed to you and family 💎🙋💎
Wow thanks for really breaking that knotting prices down. Have watched about a dozen videos that either lie about how to tie them or just don't explain thoroughly. This is actually so simple and easy to remember. Thanks!
Love this video. I want to start beading. Can you make some more videos on how to make bracelets, earrings etc.....? You make it so easy to understand.
Thank you so much Kelly always love watching your videos and seeing the beautiful jewelry you make.
I love those beads especially the green ones.
Great explanation and tutorial! Thanks!
I(ve just started to make jewelry, and this tutorial w the stretch magic really helped.. What u just did with the stretch cord I just added to my book of learning new things. It helped me to understand in simple terms about how to adjust the length ,and tying it all together. Thank u so much, I look forward to learning more new ideas.

I am new to beading. Your video is clear and concise. Thank you very much.
Thanks Kelly!.. In all my years of beading I have never tried stretch cord. l think I 'll give it a try.
Do u know if the .7mm opelon (double stranded) can fit through a 1mm hole of a 8mm gemstone bead???? A previous video I saw mentioned double stringing is best for heavier beads. And another thing about opelon is that big eye needles are a bit sharp and can shred the opelon so it's best to be careful and aware of that
i tried this..its really works..again thanks ❤️ from srilanka
I'm new to your channel and like the little I've seen of it. I've been doing beadwork on and off for the last 20 or so years. My experience though is limited to mostly brick, peyote, herringbone, gourd stitches. I've done a lot of Native American projects for friend to wear as part of their regalia. I'm just beginning to want to branch out in other directions and feel encouraged with watching some of your videos. Thank you. :)
Thank you for the visual of the clasps 👍👍
Those beads are beautiful!!
5 years later, I am new and asking these questions
Thanks for the great video!
Opelon is fine for heavy beads and if they have a larger hole even better cuz imo your supposed to double it up atleast 2 strands and for me i quadruple it up so theres 4 strands running through the whole piece also if u know all your beads are smooth and if theyre not just sand the holes alittle bit, then it wont shred...
I actually might get this thing to knot properly 😯 different style knot just came undone on something I did with stretch magic, so hopefully this new knot will stay.
Those new beads are so pretty.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Beautiful bracelets. Can you show us how to tie the stretch cord. I'm having difficult time with finishing.
Wow! Beautiful work ❤️ Those are really nice. Thanks for sharing 😊

Great video! Informative and to the point. Thank you!
Thank ya so much was wondering about everything you talked about... Huggles
You say stretch bracelets “last a while.” What’s “a while,” assuming good technique & normal wear? 5 years? 2? Thanks.
I like your colorful beads thank you
Finally! Someone show ed how to tie stretch cord! Thank you!!!
Informative--Thanks
I used to always put the tiniest dab of superglue gel on my stretch cord nots, but I think I'll try your method and see how it goes for me. Thanks for the info. And I love those new flower beads - very cute. Do you have any other designs in store for them?
Thank you💚🖤♥️
You're wearing a gorgeous green bracelet when displaying the stretchy bracelet you just made. Do you have a tutorial for this bracelet?

Thank you for another very informative video.
Wonderful video very informative. My concern is bracelet I made for a friend continued to stretch and stretch until it was too big for her.

Try pre-stretching before stringing beads. It lessens stretching later.
Wonderful!!!! Thanks Kelly.
This was very helpful! Thank you!
Thanks Kelly, We need this.

This video is awesome thank you so much
I have a rare, gold pendant that I definitely don't want to lose because of a weak, unreliable thread that snaps easily when pulling. So what is the strong cord/thread for precious jewelry? Something a little bit thicker, and black. I will make and tie it myself.
Perfect instructions!!!!
When I'm tying the knot I end up forgetting which was left and which was right... does it matter? And can we have to loop them the same way or one knot has to be over and the next knot has to be under?
me encanto mucho saludos
How come no one ever does stretch necklaces? Can it be done?
Do stretch magic work well with seed beeds?
Great explanation and video.😀
Love these videos!!!
I am a bit disappointed in Stretch Magic and similar cords. Not just they are not strong, but after several years in the closet out of the sun, they became so weak, I can break them easily with my hands. I am trying shock cord in 1 mm now and see, if it is better.
I really like your hair cut. Do they call it a short bob? Thank you for your techniques you teach us.
Thank you!
Great video!
Thank you! From Europe 😁😘
Hi, I know this is an old video but I still watch it when I am trying to make a knot on a bracelet with the stretch cord, 1mm, I think. It doesn't matter the size, it's always the same. It is so frustrating because I see how easy you do it even pulling the bracelet before you continue with the 3rd knot. Mine gets undone even when I am trying to make it tight the 2nd time. Whyyyyy??? 😫😫😫 I put the beads easily but then it can take me an hour or more before I just quit and forget about it completely. I just put everything away and zero stretchy bracelet 🤷🏻♀️🙈
THANK YOU! Good information.
Thankyou so much
Love ur earrings - do u have a tutorial?
The stretch bracelets I have purchased always break eventually and sometimes they become special bracelets ! Sigh But they are a breeze to put on and take off.

If you roll the bracelet on in off and also don't get them wet they should last longer for you

Hello, I normally get stretch magic, in all 3 sizes when I order ,in fact I have an order being delivered on Monday ,,they also do a 1 mm sparkle stretch magic that has specks of glitter in it,,,I have mother of pearl coin beads, that are 18 and 20 mm thing is though ,,,the holes in them are small,, so that's a problem I have ,,they are beautiful beads with butterflys ,, that have been painted on them, and want to use them they are quite light weight,,, so was wondering would the 5 mm be strong enough,? Can you please get bk to me on this one,, thank you🌹🌺🌼🌸🌷🍁🍂
Love your video. May I ask what would be a generic size to make a beaded bracelet for all?
