I️ thought stomach ulcers were caused by the bacterium Helicobacter pylori? Does stress just leave you more susceptible to H. Pylori?

H Pylori infection has a prevalence of 1:2 (depending on where you live starting at 25% and going up to 70% in Africa) so you can imagine it doesn’t always cause an Ulcer.. but, fun fact, it’s rumored to have caused (or contributed to) Napoleon’s ulcer! which lead to his death in exile ^_^ We know a lot about how h pylori uses stomach epithelium to reproduce and how it infects it but there are several theories about how it contributes to Ulcers.. meaning, as of right now, it’s more of a correlation than a causation that relates H Pylori and Ulcers!

I wish you could help me! I have had issues for almost 2 yrs. going to dr.'s left & right tests after tests! No one knows what's wrong with me at all! I cannot eat at all without feeling like I'm fixing to throw up! And this is literally every time I eat doesn't matter what it is! I need help
