President Oaks is a wonderful man and he does not mince any words. I am grateful for that. But if you listen to this talk it is so plain and precise and simple. I have learned something that I needed to know so badly… and that is just to “ask the Savior” to help us over come temptation and the weaknesses that we have when they arise. By asking sincerely we can have his comforting influence to overcome what we need to overcome. this helps us become stronger and helps us to have an increase of joy and happiness!

I’m a practicing member of the Church for over forty years. Elder Oaks’s message offers hope, healing, faith, forgiveness, repentance, and redemption. How reassuring it is to know that out of the billions of people who have lived, who now live, or, who will yet live on this planet, the Saviour’s Atonement can potentially heal everyone, including you and me! His loving and merciful arms are extended to everyone who will come unto Him!

Last time I saw him in person in the conference center, I cried like a baby, that's how strong and tender was the Spirit.

These are truly the last day's! And Satan is trying his best to plant doubt in us along with the burdens of this life that we carry! But I can testify to you, that when life becomes really hard, it's the TEMPLE that can give us a STRENGTH we have never known before! And we are able to move forward through our challenges! The Temple has changed my life and testimony forever, it has strengthened my in ways I never thought possible, but the Lord can do many mighty work's in our live's when we HUMBLE our hearts and minds to his will and the Lord will be there for us!!!

The savior experienced what we are all suffering and honestly, how does he lift us up, how does Christ bear our burdens? He strengthens us mentally and spiritually and brings to mind what scriptures, what experiences from the past that strengthen us. He literally can change our hearts instantaneously if that be the miracle of that moment needed to strengthen us up. The reason why we have to do our part and remember him is so that we can read the scriptures that strenghthen us, that we can do the things that strenghten us or take our minds of our burdens, we can do all things in Christ who strengthens us. Not always will I feel my strongest because I need humility, I need my heart softened

I think often we are given strength to endure afflictions because the solution is already presentbut we do not see it, can't see it, or refuse to see it, or are unable to put it into action even if we do see it. Such as healing illness with a greater understanding and application of the word of wisdom.

We're all just mortals, dealing with all of our imperfections, trying our best each day!🌷🦋🌻Only Jesus Christ was Perfect, only he could walk on water! I keep this in mind at all time's, because I don't want to judge those around me to harshly!! But we must use wise judgment in our lives at time's to know if a person we come in contact with is not someone we find desirable to hangout with! Judgement is still important!
