Bill Johnson teaches on God’s promise to strengthen us in our battles. Strength for the battle is found in the battle. Often we feel unqualified or weak in the face of spiritual warfare, but if we will say “yes” to God, regardless of what we feel, we will find strength in the battle. When the Israelites faced giants in the Promised Land Joshua encouraged them that the giants were their bread, but because of fear, the Israelites chose not to face their enemies and take the land. Of an estimated 2 million Israelites, the only 2 men to enter the land 40 years later were Joshua and Caleb because they never wavered in God’s promise. Many of us want strength FOR the battle, but God promises to strengthen us IN the battle if we will continue to say “yes” to Him with faith and confidence in His word.

This is such a timely message! The Lords given me promises that I just have no clue how they will come true. And lately, I've let the cares of this world take more root in my heart than Gods promises. What a great message to refocus and rededicate to the call of God.

So you have to say yes while you're still unsure, still afraid, still in doubt. That goes against the teaching that faith comes before the move, the action, or the next big thing God calls you to. So, the faith comes after the obedience? How do you move in fear when fear has kept you safe? That's why He said, "if you have faith as small as a mustard seed."

You / we can't mess up God's plans for us. God already knew in advance if we mess up or delayed in obedience. And God already accounted for that. Nothing we do surprises God.

Thank you for continuing to stand with me for my breakthrough. Right now it is quite difficult again, although God is at work for sure, but the desire to see and yet seeing what seems to be the opposite is exhausting.

I understand. I've been going through something debilitating with my health and it is affecting my finances and this has been going on for a long time (years). And nothing I've tried in my own strength is helping. I'm sadly watching so many others going through the same. All I can think to say is just do what you can with what you have and where you are and the Lord will still honor it. I also just keep telling myself that He knows, He hears, He's good and that nothing takes Him by surprise or is too hard for Him. I tell myself the answer is on the way and it will get here on time but that even if it doesn't I need to keep trusting Him (Psalm 62:8) even when life seems to be caving in on me He is my refuge. Regarding Timer 10:25 comment: "23 And he said unto them, Ye will surely say unto me this proverb, Physician, heal thyself: whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in thy country." Not so sure that in Luke 4 - that the Lord Jesus had done no miracles, Bill. Would you comment on this?

give me a break with these maximum allotment of commercials. Do you realize how disturbing it is to be in the midst of a sermon and then have it interrupted for some inane product ? Do the people sitting in the church hall have to tolerate commercial breaks? Then why do we? How rich does Bethel need to be ? An extra penny for every time our attention is invaded and spirit driven away ?

You can pay for KZread premium so you DONT have commercials. I never get commercials because I have this, it’s the responsibility of the user, not the ministry

I agree with you completely. I have KZread Premium for that reason. But, it has little to do with money. I would have done away with them long ago if that were the case. The "system" buries you without them. I'm always questioning the wisdom of having ads, vs. the wisdom of going without. We continue to look at this issue. Thanks for your patience.
