She was a speedy character in SOR1, Balanced in SOR2, in SOR3.... very well balanced and slightly a powerhouse and still fast (not to mention sexy as hell) I never went wrong choosing balance

the stats in SOR2 are misleading...Blaze and Axel have 2 stars for jump, but Blaze has the better jump, same goes for speed. One stat they didn't have which they needed to was for weapons....blaze and Max are best with pipes (Max better because he strikes enemies on both sides), Blaze is best with a knife, Axel is pretty weak with weapons, and so is Skate. Skate absolutely stinks with a pipe/sword.

59:18 - We find out how good the player is by watching him play against Jet. You play very well!

I loved playing this game with Blaze. I was so proud everytime I'd get all the stars and use all her special moves combined.

I love how everyone was just clubbing and having a good time, and then Blaze just walks in there and starts whoopin' all of their asses! Too funny! Also, kickass playthrough! The American version of this is hard as hell, and you played this shit on the highest difficulty with ease! Amazing!

Axel is ridiculously overpowered in SOR2, just keep spamming his Grand Upper on everyone and even bosses will fall easily.

Her Kikosho attack drained a lot of health from anyone(even when blocked), but in SOR 3, I spammed her rush attack, because of it's range and the amount of damage it dealt (especially when powered up)

Me too, I always play as the female characters in video games.

The worst moment in SoR3: When Robot Y decides not to come flying straight at you from off the screen and the timer suddenly feels like a lead weight on your shoulders.

I've never seen Blaze give Mona & Lisa an ass whoopin like that!!! LMAO!!!!

Blaze had that Tifa Lockhart look going on even before Tifa Lockhart existed. Glad to see she's returning in SOR4, just as sexy if not more so than in the first 3 games

I just want to say man, you just did such a great job. I didn't like Blaze either at first, but as I play this game (and SORR) more and more I am starting to like her a lot more. I am so sick of the tool-assisted crap, great to see someone doing an expert playthrough ACTUALLY PLAYING the game.:)

The enemies be like: Yah, it's rewind time!

Just watched the video even further and I've got to hand it to you, you really are one of the best players I've ever seen. Some of the things I saw you do in this video I have never seen anyone else do ( like jumping over robot Axel's Bare Knuckle attack, wow). Keep up the great work.

I love Streets of Rage 2 and 3 and it's really hard to find a solid video. Thanks for a great video @CorkscrewBlow

i didn't even own a genesis/megadrive as a kid but the streets of rage games were still my favorite side scrolling beat em ups :) amazing job!

I never knew there was a part 3. I only remembered parts 1 and 2. This is really cool!!!

When I was being Blaze on Street of Rage I love using her especially when it came to fighting the whip girls I like yeah girl fight and Blaze always won that fight

Love the playthru; lol, this is the only SoR game I suck at. Can't beat it on any rating other than Easy and that's only half a game. Thanks for making this so I can experience the entire game. XD

Nice play through. I recently was able to play bare knuckle 3 for the first time. I've played and beaten SoR3 a bunch of times and it's hard as hell as everyone knows. But BK3 was a cakewalk. I couldn't believe the difficulty difference. Still a great game and great series.

I wouldn't want blaze around me at all considering how many people she just powered through. I mean look at her in this video she's like a total berserker LOL. I mean nothing stands a chance here holy cow. Not even through the whole video and this is just, holy cow. Awesome play. Edit: You have to wonder though considering how much combat she'd seen what kinda personality she'd have ended up with....I mean she's a machine!

Hey - nice job! I skipped a few things in between, but I liked the boss fights and you did well on all of them except the Jet-guy.. though that dude seems really tough...

06:50 if you defeat Shiva and keep the button "C" pressed until the next level starts you get to play as him the next time you lose all of your lifes and get to select a new character. He will be on the list of characters to choose. Also, a neat trick no one seems to know about is that if you get thrown by an enemy you can fall on your feet if you press quickly A and B at the same time.

To unlock Shiva, you hold B, not C. To land from throws, hold Up+C (or whatever jump is set to). A+B doesn't work.

Favorite character of the series.

I always played as blaze thought the whole streets of rage series, her play style is pretty balanced. I dunno I was in my teens back then, maybe hormones influenced me haha😂😂

Epsilon Eagle I was so happy they brought out homeboy Adam back in Streets of Rage 4. Plus the fact we can use the retro characters in SOR 1,2 & 3 makes it even more funner.

Blaze is the best. she is pretty, very fast, and has the coolest moves. even if she is not useful like Zane i still prefer playing with her

WinRAR is used for opening .rar folders. If you're trying to run a ROM, you need an emulator. In your case, you can play Streets of Rage and other Genesis/Mega Drive games using an emulator like Gens or Kega Fusion. If you're looking for an official release on PC, you can buy the Streets of Rage games on Steam. There are mods (ROM hacks) for them as well on the Steam Workshop.

I doubt it. I did read somewhere that the mole on her chin could be from Cindy Crawford's mole, which was by the side of her mouth. The link where I read this says Cindy Crawford was a popular supermodel at the time. streetsofrage.wikia.com/wiki/Blaze_Fielding I haven't really confirmed that myself, and the web page says it was *likely* the case.

They censored Electra and Soozie, changed Blaze's "red" outfit to something less feminine and Axle's white outfit to something more feminine (yellow). You might say yellow is not feminine and I'm just being an ignorant sexist BUT these are not my words. That actually was the policy for them to be able to publish this in the US. So, I was guessing maybe they would censor the final picture as well, like put a jacket on Blaze or somethin'. I'm happy they didn't change it though :)

If they did that there, they probably would have needed to do it for the actual game as well. I'm actually surprised they didn't just do that considering the way Electra and Soozie are dressed. The picture with her on the beach saw some small edits though, but it's minor.

Late reply, but the color change on Axel in NA version is a tribute to Adam's colors. Has nothing to do with being "feminine".

I agree Sor 2 is just evil as the things you gotta fight will kick your ass in no problem I find this (Sor 3) is easy to beat and a simple but the only thing I guess makes it hard is the fact you dont have infinte lifes like the 2nd one did.

you can play with two characters then. example you choose blaze on the first player then when she will die, you will choose axel with the player two.

I downloaded this game on the Wii VC and it is ridiculously hard man!! I beated this game and got the good ending. I don't understand why the Westernized versions is so damn difficult. I heard the Japanese version is more easier than the Western version and you can beat the game on easy mode.

Bare Knuckle III might have been too easy for players even on Very Hard, so they had to ramp up the difficulty to make it less boring and more challenging. Not only is it easier, but you'll find that other things like the storyline, enemy placement, and some of the character sprites have been changed for the Western release. soronline.net/sor3_sor3vsbk3.htm I play this game a lot, so I favor the increase in difficulty. That's just me, though. Personally, I think beating SoR2 on Mania without continues is harder to do than beating SoR3 on Hard without dying. I actually started playing this on the Wii, too.

TomboyGamerGal They're pretty berserk in Mania, yeah. They move a lot faster than you do, and it certainly doesn't help that Skate is the only character that could run in SoR2, as strange as that sounds.

Also I have a question: When I'm playing as Max in SoR2 whenever I try to grab the enemies, and whenever I try to jump while holding them it doesn't do any damage and I saw other LPs doing that when they grab their enemies and jump and it takes damage. What button or control am I supposed to use?

TomboyGamerGal Max has a couple of slams that start with jumps. You're supposed to jump while holding an enemy and then hit the attack button. What kind of move you do depends on where you grab the enemy from. If you grab from the front, then jump and hit the attack button, you throw your enemy to the ground. If you grab an enemy from behind, then jump and press the attack button as you descend, you do what's known as the most damaging single-hit move in the game: the Atomic Drop. Whichever move it is, I just repeatedly press the attack button after the jump so that I ensure that it works.

How did you get Roo to show up on startup character select screen? I unlocked him, but he only shows up for me when I use a Continue.
