Great update. The blue looks awesome on the Chevelle. When you mentioned the scale of the Roadrunner, I had to pause and go look at mine! I had no idea it was 1/24 scale. Thanks vinny

Dr. Vinny! I am not a fan of painting pieces on their Sprues either. I do it sometimes when the pieces are very small. Then I use a brush to touch up the gate mark. With the Tanks and other AFVs I enjoy building, it is not so much of a thing as building a nicely painted car or street truck model. This Build is turning out to be pretty darn amazing. Following along.

hi Tom... my 1-1 Chevelle was a lighter blue ...but i love this color hence the color is now on the Chevelle... i just did a compound on the Chevelle it's looking really good.....more updates coming...thx 4 watching & your comment.. vinny

I agree, that size is a lot between 24 and 25. I like the blue, doesn't look like much polishing will be needed. Have a good week.

Good morning Vinny. Yep I paint my model parts on sprue because I do not have those fancy holding sticks. I find that mostly the parts that were attached at the sprue are hidden. And I simply spray the can on a paper plate and dip my brush in it for touch up.

I've used the Tamiya Mica Blue on a couple car models, and like it. 😎👍 Amazon has AMT's 1968 Roadrunner in 1/25.😊

Lookin' great so far, Vinny. I paint on the Sprue sometimes. Depending on how easy itll be to handle. Then i just touch it up

hello Theo.... thx 4 the sub & welcome aboard ... i hope you enjoy my content.... let me catch you up on why i'm building both these models.... back in the day... way back in the day... i owned a '69 Chevelle... i built it to have fun racing either at the track or on the street... friday & saturday nights were hang out at the local hamburger joint with your girl & car....i was challenged by the people that owned the Road Runner because i had beaten a friend of theirs the prior week... i was there to have fun & i didn't back down from the challenge.... we did our races on the freeway... to make this story short.. i got my doors blown off... i found out later this Road Runner was an 11:00 second car...my car ran high 12's low 13's...it was still fun even though we lost a bunch of money....more updates coming...thx 4 watching & your comment.. vinny
